Jesus left us with a CHURCH to interpret, teach and evangelize. He didn't leave us with a Book, Einstein. NOT everyone was placed in His Church to teach and interpret.
Time for a Bible Lesson . . .
We read in 1 Cor 12, that His Church is made up of MANY parts. They’re ALL different and they ALL need one another.
1 Cor. 12:27-31
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first of all APOSTLES, second PROPHETS, third TEACHERS, then MIRACLES, then gifts of HEALING, of HELPING, of GUIDANCE, and of different kinds of TONGUES. 29 Are ALL apostles? Are ALL prophets? Are ALL teachers? Do ALL work miracles? 30 Do ALL have gifts of healing? Do ALL speak in tongues? Do ALL interpret? 31 Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.
There is a HIERARCHY I of responsibility in Christ’s Church.
THIS is why Paul speaks of it in his letters:
1 Thess. 5:12
We ask you, brothers, to RESPECT those who are laboring among you and who are OVER YOU in the Lord and who admonish you,
1 Tim. 5:17
Let the elders that RULE WELL be counted worthy of DOUBLE HONOUR, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
His Church was NEVER meant to be the broken and divided gaggle of “Lone Rangers”, each armed with a Bible – like YOU preach. HIS Church is ONE, as He and the Father are ONE (John 17:21-23).
There was NO Bibe Canon for 300 years until lit was codified by the Catholic Church at the Council 0of Rome in 383AD. Did everyone in the first 300 years of Christianity for to HELL because they didn’t have a Bible? NO, because they had the Church, led by the Holy Spirit to ALL Truth to guide them (John 16:12-15).
It’s not bizarre – nor is it difficult to understand. We are the FAMILY of God – not the Addams Family . . .

Which leaves out half the American people mentally.
Maybe that should be the new question. Instead of what is a woman, we should ask, What is an Adult?
Because at one time to be an Adult meant to be mature.
And it seems to me half the world population are just children crying in the wind.
If all you see are the dollar signs instead of the importance of saving a Country, then you are not worth crying for.
And yet ALL the media ran with it, just like we knew they would.
Every single time.

WOULD NEVER have sat under or joined hands with those whose cry is for peace
and yet BY its peace , by its int erreligious dialgoue had made void the T RUE peace plan of GOD
which is TO BELIEVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST .
IT AINT me gathering with that ecumenical all inclusive movement and its interfaith plan for global peace .
Its you and its others . So you can try and speak and type all you want about THE BODY of CHRIST

Thank you for yet another PERFECT example of Pharisaical arrogance that has infected your soul. Jesus NEVER taught YOUR brand of hatred. On the contrary, He commands us to LOVE one another (John 13:34-35). To LOVE our enemies and to PRAY for them (Matt. 5:43-44).
YOU, on the other hand – spend ALL of your time hating your enemies and condemning their souls to hell. As I’ve warned you before - you need to get down on your KNESS and pray that God doesn’t judge you with YOUR measuring stick (Matt. 7:1-2).
Reaching out to those of other beliefs by celebrating our common beliefs gives us the opportunity to evangelize them. Standing at arm’s length and condemning them will NEVER lead to converting them to Christ. You’re nothing more than a Pharisee.
You have FAAILED to carry our Christ’s message of love because you’re NOT making disciples or teaching Christ’s message. You’re standing in judgement of those who don’t believe the way YOU do and condemning them. God help you . . .
Matt. 18:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. “Go and CONDEMN all nations, judging their hearts - and send them ALL to Hell!”
Long Ranger Pharisees like yourself are NOT building the Body of Christ. You’re tearing it down. You CANNOT convert people UNLESS you have dialogue with them – and leave the judging to Christ.

OH i seen this interfaith interreligious dialogue . The same dialogue they claimed was loving them TO GOD .
kinda odd that rather than telling the false religoins of their dire need to repent and Believe ON JESUS

but its not , sure seem to be beleiving THIS peace to be OF GOD . Sounds like a delusion to me sister .
Much like the one sent to king ahab by all his false prophets . King ahab beleived

AND MEET HIS OWN SUDDEN DESTRUCTION .

PAUL REASONED in the synagogue with Jews and God-fearing Greeks, and daily in the marketplace with those who happened to be there, leading Epicurean and Stoic philosophers to DEBATE WITH HIM.
YOU don’t do ANY of this.

AGAIN, I remind you of what Jesus Himself tells us in Matthew’s Gospel:

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the SAME way you judge others, YOU will be judged, and with the measure YOU use, it will be measured to YOU.

And the Holy Spirit works THROUGH our evangelization.
That’s what we are COMMANDED to do (Matt. 28:18–20)
What is the point of approaching ANYBODY with the Gospel if He isn’t working through us.
We weren’t commanded to sit on our butts and let the Holy Spirit do the work
We weren’t commanded to damn ANYBODY to Hell who doesn’t believe the way WE do.
We were commanded to SHARE the Gospel and to introduce people to it - as the Holy Spirit GUIDES us and works IN them.
You have a twisted understanding of how God works in this world . . .
Tell that to Paul and Peter and Timothy and every other Apostle and evangelist in the NT.
Dialogue is HOW one introduces another to Christ. We are absolutely called to have dialogue with non-believers.
Jesus COMMANDS us to evangelize. Evangelization is NOT talking DOWN to people and condemning them to hell. THAT kind of judgement is for GOD and Him alone.
Evangelization is sharing the Good News by having conversation with them.
I suggest you take some time OFF of this forum and study what Jesus taught.
Get off your high-horse of self-righteousness and PRAY for humility and forgiveness . . .

That is quite the tirade. Unfortunately the kind of "dialogue" that goes on with interfaith ecumenism is not reasoning from the scriptures or preaching the gospel.........it is jumping through hoops trying hard not to offend. It is friendship with the world and being unequally yoked instead of remaining separate. Of course we are to evangelize, and without talking down or condemning people....nobody is saying otherwise. But do it God's way, which doesn't involve enmity with God and being unequally yoked with those you are sharing the gospel with, nor compromising the gospel message to avoid offending.
2 Cor 6:14-17
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
