A Titus 2 mentor wrote something in regards to biblical femininity that I'll never forget:

"A gentle rain may not make the news. But it is life giving."

If you are a woman and you choose to lean into your femininity, you will be accused of wasting your potential. Feminism deems all things traditionally feminine as weak, insipid, slavery, drudgery, and unimportant.

But you will give life.

You'll embrace a man without the need to control or compete with him. You'll desire to lift him up and make his life easier. You'll embrace motherhood and harbor life in your womb. You'll embrace rest and whimsy. Softness and gentleness. Nurture and peace. You'll embrace home and being it's irreplaceable center.

You'll speak in wisdom and words of life. You'll let go of needing to control things and be filled with God's Spirit as you trust Him in all things.

My grandmother has a high school degree and worked mostly at the post office. However, she kept her home immaculately (still does), cooks wonderfully, can do calligraphy, decorates like a magazine cover, sews, and keeps her mind sharp with crossword puzzles, books, and news.

My mother had a career in education and public relations. She was great and she loved me but many skills were not passed down.

I had an uphill battle in the area of cleaning. I fought to learn how to do it well and it's gotten better over time. I can hand sew a little but my sewing machine collects dust. My handwriting is barely legible. I love cooking but I don't have a fraction of the skills my grandmother has.

Women traded being adept at skills for careerism pushed by feminism. Now there are plenty in my generation who don't know how to do laundry and can't cook anything that isn't microwaved. Home economics classes in public high schools have often been removed.

Since society has largely bought the lie that women are wasted at home, we've lost not only skills but community life as well. Kids used to play with other kids in neighborhoods since Moms were always home. The mother's would also organize community events, barbecues, and activities for the kids.

Marriage is a one flesh union. It is two people becoming one. That means one vision, one purpose, one direction. Wives submitting is a big part of how that happens. If a wife has separate interests, separate goals, and a separate goal, she has missed her calling.

A wife is called to help her husband go out and have dominion, not compete against him. He's the head, she is like the body. That unites the man and woman together.

Feminism teaches women that this is oppression. The Bible says it's our purpose.

The result of feminism: abortion, divorce, loneliness, bitterness.

The result of biblical femininity: I get to be my husband's crown. I am a trusted advisor, companion, and lover. I am cherished, provided for, and content in God's will for my life. My children will rise up and call me blessed. I am irreplaceable in my home and family. My feelings don't rule me. I am ruled by truth.
