Right - to be saved is to believe (trust) in Jesus as Lord and Savior, to believe that He died for our sin and rose from the dead.

Any other "gospel" is a false gospel and is to be soundly and firmly condemned. Including any "gospel" that suggests that we need to believe in a flat earth to be saved.

The shape of the earth is utterly immaterial to the gospel or salvation.

I agree with that. Sometimes the truth is what we know of as objective reality staring us right in the face.

And while God never lies, fallen humans quite often misunderstand, misinterpret, and misuse God's Word. Sometimes (as in the case with James Talarico in Texas) it's deliberate twisting, and other times it's well-intentioned misunderstanding.

They are calling this the rise of the religious left.
These are the people that support homosexuality, transgenderism, abortion, and believe the earth is flat and gravity does not exist.

They claim God embraces all these things even though He does not teach any of this in His Word.

Yes scripture twisters are increasing in number, though they have always existed. The serpent - "Did God really say..." and then proceeded to twist what God actually said. It's been going on forever.

Right but a flat earth is not what Genesis SAYS. It's how you and others interpret it, but nowhere in Genesis 1 does it say the earth is flat. Like, it doesn't even remotely say that. And the idea of a flat earth contradicts reality. The idea of a flat earth is objectively and demonstrably false.

Also: can someone show me the most accurate flat-earth map we have? Apparently the one google gave me wasn't it, according to two of you here.

No, I believe that Genesis says nothing about the earth's shape, spherical, flat disc, cube, whatever, or whether earth orbits the sun. Nor does it mention the existence or non-existence of gravity. What would God have you do now, on this subject?

God challenges you to seek His Word of Truth with all your heart mind soul and strength.

Present your case from Genesis:
a.) prove from Genesis a globe ball earth
b.) the earth is spinning at a high rate of speed (NASA says 1,000mph)
c.) WATER/ HUGE Oceans bends and clings to a ball earth spinning swiftly
