Today unfortunately many so-called theologians due to a lack of knowledge have accepted without question the perverted definition of the word "Gentiles" which has come to mean "non-jew". There is no such word as "Jew" in the N.T., nor is there a word for "non-jew" it simply has been manufactured as a fraud over the last couple of hundred years. Bible teachers, western churches, colleges, etc, have made the word "Judean" into "Jew" as though all residents of Judea were Israelite. Which is shear nonsense, for most of Judea was populated by Edomites and other races, only a small minority were true Israelite descendants of Judah. Because Edomites were called "Judeans" they have translated into modern English as "Jews" and imply that they were the true descendents of the House of Judah."Gentiles" is translated from the original Koine Greek word "ethnos" the definition of the Greek word has never been "non-jew"! The word ethnos means "tribe, clan, race, family" or "of a like kind", the word was used by the Greek speaking Israelites of the time of christ to refer to those of the same family or tribe who had become estranged or distant. This is a deliberate mistranslation designed as a fraud to pervert the true word of God which is of course still preserved for anyone to discover and learn the true meaning. Unfortunately many Christians have been led astray, God "sends strong delusion" and one must prove oneself worthy in these testing times."An Etymological Dictionary of The English Langauge" - Walter. W. Skeat.Gentile - "belonging to the same clan. - L. gentil-, decl. stem of gens , a tribe, clan, race. From GEN, to beget, produce; also genteel."Genteel - "belonging to a noble race, well bred, graceful. orig. beloning to the same clan; also a gentile. See Gentile."This is the meaning of the word "Gentile" and in no streatch of the imagination can the true linguistic definition of the English word translated from the Greek word "ethnos" mean "non-jew", that is simply a lie, in actual fact it means the complete opposite, it means of the same race, of the same clan and family. So now we can understand the scriptures better when the veil is lifted, it is relatively easy if one can read Koine Greek, but with a good Greek Lexicon and Etymological dictionary one can cut through the many lies that surround the true Word of God.Matthew 28:19-20 literal translation from Greek original is:"Going therefore, disciple ye all the tribes (ethne/ethnos) baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things whatever I commanded to you; and behold I am with you all the days until the completion of the age.":shepard:

cup-of ruin you are so stuck on you technical explanation you cant see the forest through the trees it not just the tecnical explanation its how God uses the terms and what he means by them ...Not just what your dictionary says ...I admit the hebrew and greek are important in clarifying things ....but as in your explanation above you take it past the diffention alone ...chose whatever defintion you think fits,or use some mans idea to decide how to apply it ... ethnos = where we get our english word ethnic--------------In its Obsolete form it means= . pagan; heathen which is how scripture uses the Word (and it is correct to assume this applies to all who do not follow the Law of the one God (non Hebrews) collectively called Jews ..Because thats whats the Bible is about You say it can be a family then apply a mans meaning to that, yet in Gods word the spiritual meaning is equally correctly applied ----are you forgetting we are all in Gods family so your sigular meaning by some non christain means little its what God means that matters ... I can just as easy assume it means Gods heathen/pagan children (his spirtual family) and be as right as you claim to be All things must be taken in context of scripture or they mean nothing ....Almost every word has 2, 3, or more differnt meanings look in any dictionary you seem to chose a meaning you think applies without comparing it to Gods Word the Word is our ruler in which we to judge all things...not the other way around

Yes , but I I said the perversion is in the last couple of hundred years in accordance with the 'falling away'. You must understand there is a difference if I quote a Skeat or a Liddel and Scott with the references to the Koine Greek and you quote a Macquarie Dictionary or some Judeo sunday school bible dictionary. I am using the works of prime linguistic Scholars who have traced the the meanings as far back as we know, there is a big difference. I pray you consider in depth what I have written and who I have quoted regards English translations of scripture. :cross:

You are a "Gentile" if you are of the 10 tribes, if you are Judah or Benjamin, then you are not a "Gentile", the word Gentile is ethnos 'of the same clan, family' it is never 'non-jew' that is simply a lie, a convenient lie that has been perpetrated by the Ashkenaz/Esau Publishing houses. If God has written on your heart, then you are under blood covenant which is only with the House of Israel who became as we know Christians and European Christendom.
