1 Corinthians 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's; 22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's; 23 And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

1 Cor. 11:1 - Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

To align Paul's words by his example is not to identify ourselves to be of Paul or of Calvin, but as a follower of Christ. Calvin is not without error because he believed heretics should be out to death, and he was behind one such execution in his life as a saved believer. Jesus spoke against killing an one in His service in John 16:1-3

Excommunication was all Jesus had taught. Matthew 18:14-18 So just call yourself a christian as a follower of Christ in being that follower of Christ.

You are not without error either. I am a Christian and I do identify with Christ. If you want to believe otherwise go right ahead lol.

It's not like I want people to identify with me by saying I am of JesusIsfaithful. I am pretty sure Calvin was not expecting people to identify with him by calling themselves Calvinists. Just saying.
