Not sure what is wrong with returning to the Father ?? God knows we are sinners and He wants to receive us......repenting of our sins simple means dropping our sinful ways and returning to God. Our sin hurts our ability to relate to Him....which hurts Him.....but the sin itself? I think God is more loving than that

Hmmm... I think maybe I didn't communicate what I meant very well... I mean more like what some teach and live like, that we are to imagine ourselves in Christ, think it, and you are it! You are still teaching works (law). Law can not be grace and grace can not be law.

You're still teaching a lie. It is not of works, but by faith that we enter grace. But that entering is not imaginary but true. It is a lie to say we have entered if it is according to our own imagination.

you cannot separate good works and faith. Paul and Christ condemn human works only. Responding to God's grace is exercised through faith/good works. I really don't get why people cannot see this....employment and a volunteer position are both works, but only one involves a paycheck

What was your source on what Laodicea means? Im curious because I couldn't find any etymology on it?
