Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Peter in Acts tells us Christ was in Hades And Christ was raised on the Third Day, not the first day. Peter says Christ's souls was not left in Hades, means God took Christ's soul from Hades when God resurrected Christ. So Christ was in hades a couple of days after He died. This is even in the...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Only in the New Covenant with Christ do we go to be with Him. Abraham's bosom existed for the OT saints, as I said before Christ came. And you tell me where does it say Christ at His death His Spirit went to heaven to be with God? I mean specifically says that.

Personally, I believe Adam and Eve at their deaths, God admitted back into Eden, which afterwards is known as Paradise. It was the place where all those God would save before Christ went at death, (their spirits) There is a spiritual body of some kind. The only other option is they ceased to...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Paradise of God was originally EDEN. Notice the wording Revelation 2:7 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’ Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground the...

Not saying it does give them a second Chance. However, Christ did go there. I view it more of a proclamation of Himself, that He has fully triumphed. I am not reading anything more into the text than what it says, you are adding in the idea of a second chance which I never said.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

I agree it is empty now, but the scripture says His soul would not be left in Hades AND Paul says this Ephesians 4 7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

AND the story of the rich man and Lazarus tells us what Abraham's bosom was like. It was not heaven, and it was not fully hell. But they were all together with a wide divide of separation. And they could even talk to each side. Sorry but this cannot be heaven, but it is the place where all OT...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

It is the whole reason Christ came and died, so that people would not perish but have an eternal life in Heaven with God. To perish meant to die and go to hades, hell, etc.. it was never heaven where anyone went before Christ came and died. For more complete relevance this here John 3 9...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

It can not be any part of heaven, that would be saying the OT saints at death ascended into heaven, and Jesus tells us no one did. John 3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Acts 2 tells us where Christ went the day He died. Christ being fully God and man, experienced the same death all men did. He would have gone to where the righteous dead who died were in Hades. He would have met with Abraham and all the other OT saints of God. No one has ascended into Heaven...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

I get that from when Jesus tells the thief on the cross with Him, this Luke 23:43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Ask yourself this, on the day Christ died, where did he go? Christ does not ascend to the Father into Heaven until after...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

Jesus alludes to the truth the earth and all it's works will burn in an oven in Luke 12, in one day This is what Peter and Paul means by a sudden destruction by fire. God has appointed a day in the future when this will happen, see we are futurists, we are to look forward to these things, not...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

As when the flood occurred, all flesh that breathed air, died. But their spirits were imprisoned in hell, or the place of death, sheol, hades, Tartarus etc... And Jesus descends at death into the lower parts of the earth and interacts with them. 1 Peter 3 Christ’s Suffering and Ours 18 For...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

Their bodies will burn up along with the earth, their spirits will be gathered and cast into Hell, or the Lake of fire. The wicked don't cease to exist as if they never were. We will be aware of what happened to them, where they are.

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

The time of Noah in genesis 6 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. 3 And the Lord said...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

Matthew 13 The Parable of the Dragnet 47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it will be at...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

This is the harvest of souls from the earth The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

Specifically though taken where? Taken to destruction to be eaten by birds. The idea is the righteous remain with Christ at His return, while the unbelieving wicked are cast away into the fire. Cut off from the vine of life Both are gathered or taken by angels, either to destruction as in cast...
