Was Jerusalem "Babylon the Great" 2,000 years ago?

Well here’s what I see, in Leviticus 16, on the day of atonement, there are two goats that are presented before the Lord. Aaron cast lots, one goat is for the Lord and the other is for a scapegoat which remained alive. When Jesus died on the cross, He represented the goat for the Lord that got...

Was Jerusalem "Babylon the Great" 2,000 years ago?

I agree, David would be the opposite of Babylon, but the blood of Uriah is in Babylon according to Revelation 18:24. If you agree that Christ paid for David’s sin then where is Uriah’s blood? Is it still in Babylon?

Was Jerusalem "Babylon the Great" 2,000 years ago?

I agree, David’s sins were forgiven, which means the blood of Uriah was paid for by Christ. Since all the blood is found in Babylon your view needs to reconcile how it would be possible that Uriah’s blood isn’t found in Babylon. You can just ignore this but then you don’t have a convincing...

Was Jerusalem "Babylon the Great" 2,000 years ago?

What are your thoughts on the blood of Uriah the Hittite? 2 Samuel 12:9 Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Right, but in both cases there were less than ten righteous that either fled or entered the ark before the destruction happened. That is a common denominator for those two events which has to be put aside for certain end time views. A view that takes that number into account would be a superior...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

So what about the less than ten number? Do you see that being significant for the future coming of Christ?

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

In Genesis 19:23 Lot enter into the city of Zoar before S and G are destroyed. In this case clearly there were other cities that remained. One thing both S and G and Noah have in common is that there had to be less than ten righteous before the destruction happened. In Genesis 18:32 the Lord...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Here’s another problem that needs to be resolved if there is no literal sea in NHNE. Genesis 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

That could be used as an example but I would say the fifth seal martyrs was a one time event that occurred when the Old Testament believers left Sheol. Currently no one who gets martyred needs to ask the question of how long. We all have already read Revelation 6 and we all already know the...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

I would tend to agree that no sorrow or pain would occur in heaven, I think all the same attributes of NHNE are currently occurring spiritually but I’m not sure all those who hold an Amil view would agree. I’m curious as to what verses would be used to argue for sorrow and pain currently...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Well we are going to be in disagreement on this, I see myself currently in the NHNE, spiritually that is. Let me ask you this, in the Amil millennium those that live and reign with Christ, do they experience crying, sorrow, and pain? Obviously we all physically experience these things but those...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Yes, but in a spiritual way we already are with Him, where He is. Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

That’s right, also in John 14:3 Jesus says I go to prepare a place for you. Surely if the initial creation only took seven days, the NHNE have already been created.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

I agree, and I’m not saying NHNE have come down yet. What I’m saying is we can currently enter into New Jerusalem which I would say is in NHNE. Old heaven old earth still exists while people can come to the heavenly Jerusalem. Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Ok, that’s a very good point, thanks for bringing that verse up. I’ll have to think about that.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Well there would be a need for healing “in” (I really should’ve said during instead of in) the NHNE if it is a place that is accessible to believers while the old heaven old earth still exist.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Yea, I agree not everyone will be saved and I think that agrees with the leaves for healing being for the nations. I think we have currently come to the heavenly Jerusalem which I believe is in NHNE, so I see the leaves healing or saving the nations/Gentiles.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

In Ezekiel 47:12 it talks about the tree of life in Revelation 22:2. In Ezekiel 47:11 it says there are miry places that shall not be healed. Where are the miry places that shall not be healed in the NHNE?

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Ok, so what is the overall order of things when you include both the saved and unsaved? Keeping in mind Matthew 13:30 where the tares are gathered first.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Ok, my bad, I missed several of your points that you made. Let me ask you this then, what are you doing with a verse such as Ezekiel 37:26? What sanctuary is set in the midst of them forevermore? Ezekiel 37:26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting...
