Is it a sin for Christians to violently confront and resist oppressive antifa members?

Yeah, 300 years of the original teaching of Jesus and the apostles vs. 1600 years of people manipulating the Scriptures. Please show me a document where the Holy Spirit changed the teaching of Jesus and the apostles.

Is it a sin for Christians to violently confront and resist oppressive antifa members?

You can define them as you see fit. However, as I've stated several times, the first Christians understood them to mean there was no use of violence, period. Again, I know many Christians don't like this teaching but we have over 300 years of it. It was the first teaching, before all of these...

Is it a sin for Christians to violently confront and resist oppressive antifa members?

If that were the case then He wouldn't have had Jesus tell His followers to turn the other cheek. He wouldn't have had Paul tell his converts to not repay evil with evil. He wouldn't have had to say, vengeance is mine, I will repay.

Is it a sin for Christians to violently confront and resist oppressive antifa members?

Firstly, you're assuming you could stop the gang of thugs. Secondly, you could incite them to go beyond their initial intentions, thirdly, and more importantly, you could rely on God for your protection as the those early Christians, who wouldn't use violence, did.

A different take on signs and wonders.

Yeah, as I pointed out earlier, the history of the church shows us that shortly after the apostles there was only a remnant of the gifts remaining.

The ad hominem is a sure sign you've lost the debate.

Still no Scripture. Have you considered maybe what you claim isn't there?

A different take on signs and wonders.

Again, no Scripture. So, you believe something you can't prove. Who's the false teacher?

Is it a sin for Christians to violently confront and resist oppressive antifa members?

But, what you believe isn't Scripture. You have 300 years of Christian history, the first history, that shows what was taught in the Church. It was that Christians were not to use violence. We have Scripture that tells us to turn the other cheek and to not repay evil with evil. As I said, a lot...

A different take on signs and wonders.

Again, you provided no Scripture. Who is believing the lies?

A different take on signs and wonders.

You didn't answer the question. That's because there is no passage. So, who is believing lies?

show me where God said people go to Heaven

A different take on signs and wonders.

Not sure what that has to do with the subject at hand. My screen name is fine. I seek to get it right. I don't believe something because a pastor said so, or because it's the popular thing in Christianity today. If you study the history of Christianity you'll find that much of what is taught...

Is it a sin for Christians to violently confront and resist oppressive antifa members?

As I said, regarding the head covering, Paul didn't appeal to culture, he appealed to the created order. That hasn't changed as cultures change. Regarding keeping silent in the churches, we have to remember that the churches were fashioned after the Synagogues. In the synagogue the men would...

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

Personally, I don't like them and don't have any. I see no reason for them. However, as I said in the poll, it would be useful for striking up a conversation.

A different take on signs and wonders.

The Bible doesn't teach that people go to Heaven. Whether the gifts are needed on earth or not doesn't have any bearing on whether they are still active or not. The world needs Jesus too, but He's not here.

    Your favorite Psalm?

It would probably be Psalm 2.
