I am a little puzzled why anyone thinks that millions of power grids across the U.S. are suddenly going to fail all at once. Pretty sure there's no disgruntled group out there big enough to cause such havoc.

I did buy a handcrank/solar powered radio/flashlight/charger. Not because I'm scared, but it's just wise to have one around the house :D And a first aid kit, for the same reasons. I suppose all this fear-mongering is at least a good reminder to make sure you have some basic necessities on hand.

Far as I know, you have to wait until it's completed. I know it can take a *long* time.

Sure, I agree that we have a hunk of society who are trying to become tyrannical and grabbing power by fraud. I just don't think we're going to see 300,000 people rampaging across the nation on Jan 20th. I mean, I'll be at work. I got bills :P

Once you log into one of the "worlds" you'll make your first character and give them a unique name :) That will be the name we'll have to use to find each other, if we want to chat or do stuff!

It's good if you love Lord of the Rings. It is an older game (2007) but it's held up very well through the years, and consistently ranks as one of the most beloved classic MMORPG's :) I enjoy the gameplay, but I mostly spend my time roleplaying like a proper nerd.

I think it's rubbish and an excuse for the media to get people all riled up and hysterical yet again, so they can slaver over their ratings and clicks and views for the next few days. I do expect scattered skirmishes around DC. That's the worst of it. 99.9% of Americans will be going to work...

Most of my gaming friends are over 30, so yeah :D I play LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online) and have done so for the past... 7 years. Awesome stuff.
