James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

It is funny how people love to talk about "rules" and then never follow them themselves.....

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

He promotes a "James". That is all you have.

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

I read the rules of this forum. It said not to use your real name. Do you not follow the rules?

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

There is no concenscience. What conscenscience? I said that the vast majority of Theologians accept there at least two James referenced in the NT. That is the concenscience.

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Nobody said anything about his writing.......

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

So I should have known just because you said you were Titus? Do you not even understand how evidence works? Maybe you should have used your full name so there wouldn't be any confusion....... See how that works????

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Again. Your only connect is the name "James". There were more than one James in the early church. You're floundering.

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

You would "think" that this "James" would reference himself as the "brother of Jesus" in his own writing. You will not find that in his writing. Both the internal and external evidence for this author being "James the brother of Jesus" isn't there. Can you quote James where he references...

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

You're such a "nice guy"...... Still angry because someone is challenging your beliefs.....
  10. P

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Good. There is more evidence for your name than what you have for the authorship of James..... Can you get a text from the father of James? There is no evidence that James is actually the brother of Jesus. Which is why it was included in the earliest canonical lists. It was not widely...

    Do Christians Still Sin?

I disagree with him. However, I disagree with most everyone. That doesn't stop me from accepting those that name the name of Christ. You're the one seperating yourself from those Jesus Christ loves. Your theology teaches you to hate others. Most people have no idea why they believe what they...

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Well. I see you left and Googled for a few minutes......to find your answer instead of starting at the beginning and working your way forward. Again. You are too lazy to start with a "foundation" and build thereupon. Just because you read the name of "James" in the NT doesn't mean that the...

    Do Christians Still Sin?

I'm not afraid of what someone says. The Truth stands up to scrutiny.

    Do Christians Still Sin?

I don't believe God talks that way...

    Do Christians Still Sin?

I did. He is good source of information... but he wasn't a Christian. He will present things from a "unbelievers" perspective. You need both. You need Christian perspective and unbeliever perspective to really know the Truth. That is why I said to "add" Albert.

    Do Christians Still Sin?

I'm "with you" on some of this... but I do see these terms as being important at times. The "defense" of the Gospel to any challenge is important. It does help with dealing with the historical arguments that addressed the issue long ago. The "Holy Trinity" was one of the first challenges to...

Let me know when you get an answer... :)

    Do Christians Still Sin?

He lived in the 1800s but was more than capable when it comes to Jewish history.

    Do Christians Still Sin?

In Theology, we call this the Hypostatic Union. "Person" is used to distinguish between the two natures of Jesus Christ.
