The past and future do not exist, the eternal now is all there is.

These are merely words, not truth, their only purpose is to point to. When you think about it, the now is God because the now is not a moment in time. Everything that has happened or will happen, takes place in the now. When you make plans for the future, you are making those plans now. The...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Can you go into the past? Nothing has happened prior to this moment because this moment is all there is. We are talking about the past, right now. We are thinking of the future, right now. Now is all there is

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

If your god is a fact then so is the tooth fairy. I know these things (as far as the now being all there is) because that’s the experience we all share. It’s just intuitive, it doesn’t need any books like a Bible for example. Everything that has occurred or will occur, takes place in the now...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

The past does not exist, so something that doesn’t exist cannot be denied. Existence of your god is not a fact either.

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Nobody denied the existence of pregnancy. That is just grasping at straws/reaching at this point. The now is outside of time. Now is not a moment in time, time takes place in the now. In which case, you are not qualified to take questions. Not even.

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Babies aren’t born in the future, they are born in the present because the present is what is. Nothing is being “cut out”. Past and future are illusions, an illusion can’t be cut out because it’s simply not there. You are cutting out the present, the only moment where life happens. You may want...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Psychologically “now” thinking is actually the opposite of escaping from reality. Dwelling on the past or waiting on the future is what’s an escape. Life takes place now, not tomorrow, and certainly not the past. By being more immersed in the moment, you are living more in reality. The now is...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Metaphysical truth is unknowable by the human mind. It’s too big to be encapsulated into a single thought. Thoughts are always -about-, not the actual truth.

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Because anything that has ever happened or will happen, takes place in the now. I am just “here-now” always. Tomorrow will be now. Here and now is outside space-time. Space time is simply how the mind filters this moment. The future always comes as right now. The past was always, right now.

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Me not being perfect is what makes me perfect. The imperfection is the perfection. What claims did I make about the future?

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Nope. Both sides of any situation claim to be right. Everyone thinks they are the good ones and the others are evil and vice versa. You keep chasing your tail like a dog. Christians think they are right. LGBT thinks it’s right. Muslims think they are right. Democrats think they are right...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Truth is not only one side. Truth is free and doesn’t belong to any “sides”. Truth doesn’t mind being questioned. Lies hate being challenged. In your religion, truth is not to be questioned. Makes you wonder if what you believe is even the truth after all.

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

They sure do exist. It’s only the simplistic mind that can’t handle them. You think truth is on one side only-it’s not. Sides are “imagined”. Truth is more in the middle than anything. You seem to struggle with nuance. Eastern philosophy is miles above Abrahamic religion because nonduality is...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Why would I care about what comes later? The future doesn’t exist, it’s merely a projection. This moment alone is all there is. I legitimately don’t feel like I need saving nor do I feel fallen. Christians want me to feel like I’m a sinner, like I’m guilty and in need of forgiveness. I simply...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Yes, it’s a paradox. Even Socrates said that wisdom is knowing that you know nothing. Most people struggle with paradoxes.

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

I don’t have to obey anybody. I can commit a crime if I really wanted to, It’s not out of fear that I “obey”, it’s out of my own desire. I choose to not commit a certain crime, it’s not because of what will happen if I do. Besides, some laws and rules are actually meant to be broken. If all...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

It’s definitely a joke. It’s only the fragile ego that doesn’t find it a joke because it’s impending doom is always around the corner. Nearly every religion has the threat of hell built into it…how else do you think they keep their followers locked down so effectively? While I’m not Buddhist, I...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

We’re all heretics to someone. In fact since you sound like a Protestant, you’re a heretic in the eyes of the Catholic Church…but that’s ok because you probably think they are also heretics. Both Catholics and Protestants cherry pick verses out of the Bible to justify their position and deem the...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

It is about what other people are believing. Your belief was imported, it was someone else’s belief. Nobody is born knowing about Jesus or the Bible. Denominations are just religions of a particular interpretation of the Bible.
