And furthermore; We are healed (as believers) from oppression by the devil: “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38, KJV)

The devil cannot oppress you and attack you in any way other than by possession and controlling you. The devil can temp you, but not attack and oppress you. Unless you are tormented by your own desires because you really would like to partake in what the devil offers.
