According to Acts 17:3, the Apostle Paul “reasoned with” others “from the Scriptures.” So let’s reason on these Scriptures you quoted…. First of all, the murderous Jews were making this argument. This was their claim. Those Jews were liars, filled with hatred & bias. Their claim was empty….for...

Yeah, the Devil did misjudge Jesus’ resolve, you’re right. The Devil tried, though… he wouldn’t have, if he didn’t think there was a chance, ie., thought Jesus was God. A few times, when Jesus was casting out demons from possessed Jews, these demons said to Jesus, “We know exactly who you are...

Once again, no. They picked up stones to throw at him, because Jesus just said he was over 1800 yrs.old. Jesus got away from them, right? If he was claiming to be God, they would have stoned him the next day! Then why did no one accuse Him at his Sanhedrin trial? All 4 Gospel accounts record...

Obeisance, the best a person can give! Because “God highly exalted him.” — Philippians 2:9 It doesn’t change the fact that Jesus was God’s “Holy Servant.” Acts 4:27,30, a prayer of the Apostles and other 1st century Christians. There is only ”one God” we are to worship (1 Corinthians 8:5,6)...

I’m sorry, SteVen, but this is a complete misapplication of Scripture. Let’s reason on this… Jesus was not claiming to be God here. If you think so (as many do), than why didn’t they kill him there? You say “they tried to”? Then why didn’t they try to kill him, the next day? Or the day after...

Are you aware of the Greek word used in these translations that render it here as “worship”? It’s “proskyneo”. Proskyneo can also be translated as bowing down, or obeisance…. as in honoring someone. If a person insists that “proskyneo”must be translated worship, then according to the LXX...

“of God”, not “God”. The chief angel is still an angel. And “of God.” And Moses and the Israelites (and Jews) worshipped “Yahweh / Yehovah”, the God of Jesus & Martha. — John 20:17.

And this reminds me of Paul’s words @ Hebrews 5:8 (Berean Standard Bible), regarding Jesus: “Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered.” If Jesus couldn’t disobey, then why would he need to “learn obedience”? He always would have been. Furthermore, if Jesus was God...

So, ultimately you’re saying the Devil didn’t know the identity of Jesus? Who Jesus really was?

So now, Jesus is the Father? Or, could it simply be that Jesus, being the “image of God”, perfectly mirrors his Father?

So, maybe it was Jesus. That still doesn’t make him God. In fact, it makes him “the angel of Jehovah.” By the way, “Mighty God” isn’t Almighty God. And Isaiah 9:7 continues, “…Prince of Peace.” Almighty God is no mere “prince”, He is the “King of Peace.”

“No one has seen God at any time.” Y’all keep forgetting that. On purpose?

Yes, Jesus could have sinned, ie., turned against His Father. Otherwise, why would the Devil try to tempt him? Reasoning on Scriptural context, is vital.

Certainly. Jesus stated & implied that, several times. John 17:5; John 8:58; John 3:13; etc. But Jesus existing before he came to Earth, in no way equates to him being God.

I saw this… … and wondered, “where is this in Scripture?” I have an idea where you’re going with this, but neither did Jesus know everything his Father - his God - knew. Take care.

What sort of death did A&E die in the day they ate thereof?

I never said otherwise. Please don’t present strawman arguments. This is what I questioned. They have a “hive mind”, not individuality. Personalities as individuals? No… They have ‘group personalities’, which are apparently shaped by their environment, ie., availability of different foods...

But the text doesn’t differentiate. It should, if there’s more than one God. But it doesn’t. It never does. The angels have seen God, too. They do see Him. But they’re not God. Are they?

THE Trinity can Now be discussed.

Jesus ‘caused himself’ to be resurrected, in the same way the woman with the flow of blood, ‘caused herself’ to be healed: Jesus said to her, “your faith” has made you well.” Jesus’ faith in his Father, his God, resulted in His resurrection. It was all up to Him. Just as Paul told Timothy @ 1...
