    Trump Moving Too Fast?

Aren't you misrepresenting me here? I never said it did. But many of his Christian supporters do. When you talk to people it's not hard to see that many are too invested in and too wrapped up in politics and their favourite political figure or candidate and are forgetting Who is really in...

    Trump Moving Too Fast?

The message is to be clear-sighted so as to not make an idol out of anyone. Anyone who agrees with that can just, well, agree. I'm not talking about the politics so much as I'm concerned about where everybody's hearts are, who know the Lord. I'm not so sure it isn't becoming a theocracy...

    Trump Moving Too Fast?

I think it's meaningful and good that we have our eyes wide open to see things and people as they are. I don't hate anyone, but I do often very much hate the things some people do to their fellow creatures, and what they stand for. If Trump is a principled man who is against the kooky woke WEF...

    Limited atonement !

The truth is that whosoever will may take the water of life freely. Truth resolves all contradictions. The natural man cannot perceive truth, it must be spiritually discerned. Like you are certainly free to ignore or reject all the scriptures that contradict your doctrine, true?. God is not...

    Trump Moving Too Fast?

Trump must be very pleased that his friend and WEF appointee Mark Carney and the Liberals won the supposed election here in Canada last night. It has become clear to me why so many unethical immoral people in charge of things are on the kooky side and always want to enslave and oppress the...

    Limited atonement !

Only in a manner of speaking, based on the foreknowledge of God. You are drawing a wrong conclusion with your carnal mind, as so often happens. The bible doesn't teach a thing called "limited atonement". "Whosoever will" may drink of the waters of life freely.

    Limited atonement !

Amen, in a manner of speaking. That will ruffle some feathers I'm sure. He is against the proud but gives grace to the humble. That is why the Lord speaks to us in parables.....He reveals to little children but truth is hid from the proud who are relying on themselves.

Limited atonement is a false gospel

Personal guidance, amen, and His sheep know His voice by faith and obey what we believe we are hearing. If we inadvertently make a mistake, He has already foreseen it and "gone before" us and made a way to turn it around for our good, once we realize and acknowledge our error. He often...

Limited atonement is a false gospel

Just that we need to remember there are different spiritual gifts, and God has many ways that He speaks to His people. Sometimes it is with words, either spoken to our heart or audibly in the inner ear, sometimes it is through scripture, sometimes a vision, or a dream, and sometimes He speaks...

    Limited atonement !

Yes of course. I was responding to this statement: "Christ's death was limited to them He actually redeemed".
  11. L

    Limited atonement !

Of course....I agree! And He gives it to those who simply by grace are willing and open to receive it. Receiving is not an active thing is it.....it is passive, not something we DO but something we only ALLOW, if we will....ALLOW the Lord to have His way. That is what it means to rest in Him...

    Limited atonement !

Only in a manner of speaking, from His point of view, having foreknowledge. It says we are "elect according to the foreknowledge of God". We need ears to ear what the SPIRIT is saying......reading scripture isn't like reading a novel or textbook, we need to read it or meditate on it...

    Limited atonement !

The problem is that these things need to be understood by faith, in spirit, not with the carnal mind. They must be spiritually discerned. That is bible truth. The carnal mind can't hold the truth in spirit, but will carve it in stone of flesh, so to speak, resulting in this case in a...

    Limited atonement !

Clearly some do resist Him though, whether for a time or for always. Some just choose to take a stance to reject Him no matter what He does.. Jesus Himself rebuked those who were resisting and rejecting Him..."ye do always resist the Holy Spirit". And He said I played the flute for you but...

    Limited atonement !

    Amen, plenty of them.

    Limited atonement !

Scripture teaches that it is by faith. No one is counted as the seed of Abraham spiritually speaking until and unless they come to faith in Christ the Messiah. But God has already foreknown who will and who won't, and He is sometimes speaking from His vantage point, as it were. Gal 3:5-7 He...

    Limited atonement !

Only one problem....that is not the point of the parable and not what it is teaching. Jesus didn't give that parable for the purpose of teaching that everyone who goes astray will necessarily be brought back to the fold. He was making a point about having a shepherd's heart, as opposed to a...

    Limited atonement !

We need to take God's foreknowledge into account.....the language of scripture is taking it into account in places. No-one is really the seed of Abraham until they become so through receiving Christ.

    Limited atonement !

Man can choose to resist the Spirit my friend. That is scriptural. There are even testimonies of people being drawn and wooed by the Lord, who for a time resist Him. Then later on down the road they finally yield to Him.
  20. L

    Limited atonement !

God does all the work, all anyone has to do is to simply not resist Him but receive. Jesus came unto His own but they would not receive Him...."ye do always resist the Holy Spirit." People can choose to resist Him. Mankind was made in the image of God....that means for one thing that man is...
