    Should Christians get tattoos?

To perface, I'm not referring to Christians who have gotten tattoos before becoming Christians, but Christians getting them after they've been saved. I'm going to err on the side of Christians not getting tattoos, and I'll explain why. As always, I will defer to the Bible, which admittedly...

Where was Jesus between his death and resurrection?

Jesus told the thief on the cross, "today you will be with me in paradise." He wasn't referring to heaven since Jesus didn't ascend to heaven until after his resurrection. There is a belief that there was once a good part of hell partitioned off for the saints prior to Jesus resurrection since...

I wonder who's behind this? Dock workers strike begins Tuesday 10/1?

    Right before the election. Coincidence?

America is being poisoned by the same virus that ruined Europe.

This seems to be their biggest concern, which I can unerstand. Nobody wants to be replaced by a machine.

AOC's 'red light' district overrun with so many immigrant prostitutes as locals call out MIA 'Squad' member

And yet they still overwhelmingly vote for her. It boggles the mind.

    About the Global Warming Agendas

Klaus Schwab once boasted about having influence through WEF leaders in multiple governments, and having penetrated cabinets around the world. That's the real source of their power. That's really what Climate Change is about IMO, it's a Trojan horse for world government. As for CO2 gas, if...

    Enjoying Life

We were originally created in paradise, and we're headed to paradise when we die. So, I would say, ideally yes. But, of course, we're not living under ideal circumstances for the time being.

Why I hate the Bible... Or so they say?

I think it's a good indicator that using the written word to spread the gospel was successful. Adam walked and talked with God. How many can say that? And yet Paul said, "All scripture is God-breathed (inspired).". Whose to say God didn't impress upon their hearts to write it down? And if...

Why I hate the Bible... Or so they say?

Whose to say He didn't choose the written word to communicate to us? After all, God did tell Moses to write down the words He spoke. And it can't be argued of the success. The Bible is the best-selling book of all time. True, but they had a special relationship with God. Human fingerprints...

The Galilean wedding is the model for the pre-trib rapture

Pre-trib would make a distinction between tribulation that comes from the world and tribulation that comes from God. We are not exempt from tribulation that comes from the world, but we are exempt from tribulation (judgement) that comes from God. There's plenty of examples in the Bible that...

The Galilean wedding is the model for the pre-trib rapture

I think it does. Did any rapture position come out of the "Mouth of God"? How so? How does Matthew 24 disprove the pre-trib rapture?

The Galilean wedding is the model for the pre-trib rapture

Thanks. That's where I first became aware of it, and at the bottom of my post I link to a pdf that gives supporting references by Jay R. McCarl. He wrote the book that was later turned into that movie. My only contribution was creating the outline for it.

Hillary Clinton thinks Americans who spread disinformation should be arrested

Too bad we have a pesky thing called the Constitution to stand in her way. Words like "disinformation" and "misinformation" where not a part of the American vernacular UNTIL Trump came into office. Now, they use these terminologies to stifle freedom of speech.

    Healing testimonies

Does anyone have any personal healing testimonies to share? This one is about my nephew from a couple of years ago. My nephew had suddenly become very ill and was vomiting. He was taken to the hospital by his roommate and admitted to the ICU. As it would turn out he was suffering from...

Was the Flood a worldwide catastrophe or just a local flood?

I'll just quote myself from another thread:

Why I'm NOT a Christian. - Or so they say...

There's nothing wrong with asking questions, but it can be taken to extremes too. Some things are just unknowable\unprovable and have to be taken on faith. If questions lead to skepticism and skepticism leads to doubt, it will destroy faith. At a certain point, you're just a Christian in name...

Walz is toast if this goes viral!!!

Walz is an odd choice. It never made sense to me why he was picked. It used to be Dems at least tried to appear moderate, especially before elections. But they have dropped all pretense and taken a hard left turn. Neither of them are very good picks, which is why I speculated they would ditch...

So, we shouldn't read any books but the bible?

A pastor speaks on Christians and the 2024 election

Somehow, Christians have become insular and believe we shouldn't get involved in politics at all. Unfortunately, the enemy has no such reservations. We're in a spiritual war that often spills over into the political arena, but most don't seem to realize it, much less fight against it.

I'm not sure if I've read that one or not, but I've always liked Missler.
