It's never going away now; I just took a picture of it.

Sorry, I'm in the hands of the King.

    Calvinism

Your right... It's gonna turn out great for me because Christ the risen King, who sits on His Throne in Heaven, commands the very powers you claim to communicate with.

    Oh..... them. Right.... those guys.

No: By willfully slandering his name and credibility.

    Calvinism

No; I do not know if this took place [I would like to see the quote] But if he did, it was indeed a sin; we all sin. The problem is sinning and then pretending to be perfect and that you never sin willfully.

    Calvinism

Oh, so so long as he isn't a pastor, it's ok to willfully slander someones name? [I for one have seen his intelligence on this site and fully trust that he has a degree]
  11. Mjh29

    Calvinism

No; for willfully sinning by slandering his name as a pastor.
  12. Mjh29

    Calvinism

No, I am pointing out a willful sin. Again, you can doubt his credibility; that's fine. What you CAN'T do [according to the Scriptures] is slander his name as a pastor. That is a sin. And assuming that you aren't being held hostage, you committed this sin willfully; TWICE now seeing as though...

    Calvinism

Doesn't need a congregation; the command is to those who are called to spread the word of God. Who was Jesus congregation?

    Calvinism

Read his signature on his posts; Preacher. We are told to hold preachers [those who carry the word] in high regard as commanded. Slip and slither all you want; You've committed a willful sin, and it is cemented on the site in black and white.

    Calvinism

Still, according to your interpretation rule we should never even touch our Bibles, because we will inevitably get it wrong no matter what! Because, as you admitted, we all have bias, and as you have claimed numerous times we need to read the Scriptures unbiasedly, by definition no one should...

    Calvinism

Isn't about respect. It's about slandering his name as a pastor. It's a sin to slander, especially a pastor who we are commanded to hold in high regard. I don't care if you respect him or not. You committed a WILLFUL sin by slandering the name of a pastor.
  17. Mjh29

    Calvinism

    You seem to think he is as well. So, again;
  18. Mjh29

    Calvinism

Which gives you the right to willingly slander his name as a pastor? [Which is a sin]
  19. Mjh29

    Calvinism

But how? We can't turn off our presuppositions; the moment we read a verse our brains begin formulating them! In fact, presuppositions are the very reason you hate Calvinism! Because you read a verse, and come to a different conclusion than we do. Based on your methods of study, we should...

    Calvinism

Then how can we ever deal with the Scriptures? [based on your approach] We are supposed to take one verse and without commentary or bias allow it to completely speak for itself without any interpretation... but this is impossible if we are all biased.
