The People Who Actually Try To Say They Have "Seen The Glory of God."

Yes, people have to know that they have to know God's will BEFORE they pray. Like John 15:7. That is not our will, but repeating the rhema spoken to us. "If you abide in Me, and my WORDS (RHEMA, NOT LOGOS) abide in you, you shall ask what you will... (because I hear His will, it automatically...

The People Who Actually Try To Say They Have "Seen The Glory of God."

Yes, I've seen visions and have had dreams, but the interpretation comes with them when they are from God, and not pizza. I rarely speak in tongues, though I can, of course, Mark 16:16-18. I was given the ability to hear God's voice for Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge and Prophecy, and God...

The People Who Actually Try To Say They Have "Seen The Glory of God."

Once you realize that 1 Corinthians 14:2 is the standard, the rule, then you know God will not contradict His word. For instance, Acts 2 when written of the account was read by Christians who already knew and practiced the gifts. They know that what happened on the Day of Pentecost was the 120...

Yes, but he only counterfeits something already of God. For instance, tongues are of God, but Satan can possess a Voodoo person who he speaks through. But you see, the person already belongs to Satan. In other words, a person abiding in Jesus cannot be possessed by Satan and speak in "tongues of...

and @Ziggy The way to discern false miracles is to test the spirit of the person doing the miracle. Who are they abiding in? Jesus or the devil.

The People Who Actually Try To Say They Have "Seen The Glory of God."

Dr. Jack Hayford at Church On the Way back in the 60's went into the church on a Saturday to turn on the heat for Sunday services and saw a glowing silvery mist form in the middle of the sanctuary. He left the room momentarily and rubbed his eyes, then walked back in and it was still there. And...

    Your Favourite Theodicy?

We are not to go back to the carnal flesh, but are to stay in the Spirit/LIGHT. 15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin...

    Your Favourite Theodicy?

It is actually two sections. God is Light If you walk in Darkness (no light - lost) If you walk in the Light (our trespasses against each other are forgiven Matthew 6:14-15 if we forgive. That has nothing to do with willful sins of lawlessness 1 John 3:4 Then verse 8 is mankind that sins but...

The People Who Actually Try To Say They Have "Seen The Glory of God."

I've had a 44 year old relationship with God and hearing His voice. I know it very well. But of course an ungodly scoffer would attribute to God an evil spirit. That is blasphemy that doesn't trouble you at all to commit. You have absolutely no fear of the Lord, but I have enough for both of us.

I don't listen to ungodly scoffers steeped in unbelief. --- Good night, Helen, sis.

Christians are not to mock the things of God, so maybe preach to the mirror. I've already asked God about what Paul preached, and He told me "it wasn't from Me." Some things were just his opinion, and not from God, nor out of love.

Paul was talking about those under the law. Just like here: 39 A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord. Even though Paul would say we are no longer under the law, he did try to keep...

Do you love Jesus with all your heart, mind and strength. Do you keep his commandments? Do you love your fellow Christians? We don't have to have the same doctrines, but we have to love each other.

Why do you scoff at the gifts of God? Why do you turn a blind eye to truth, and instead think your reason is enough?

I'm with @Helen! We have the mind of Christ who is very emotional.

It is posts like this that truly separates the believers from the unbelievers. Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he...

    Sun orbits the Earth!?

I doubt that keeping a secret like that will ever be broken.

    Sun orbits the Earth!?

Well, if it was a hoax, it doesn't affect the world now. And it sure gave America a boost in ratings as a world power.
