    Hello everybody

You've been a Christian longer than I have been alive! What am I missing?!! What do you think the Lord would say "most"?

One of the best things I ever learned, was to be still - pray that my brothers and sisters in Christ develop this fruit as well (please?)

"and a great burden lifted of the believer and the faith, for they had learned to be patient, with their Lord" (in Jesus' Name Amen).

Struggling and need all your prayers

He breaks us, and waits for us to mend; He stretches us, and waits for us to reach the crying point. That's God to a schizophrenic, anyway. I'm praying that God gradually lift you out, of the circumstance you are in (in Jesus' Name Amen!)

Tips on how to memorize bible verses?

I personally assign a single word that describes the verse in question; then, when I want to remember the verse, I just think of that word. So for John 3:16, I remember it as "God so" or Mark 11:23, I remember as "Mountain" then I can write these things down and not have to write every last...

Have an addiction to McDonald's? You are like me!

You know what, I just imagined that maybe McDonald's will always go off (at some point) and it brought my thinking to a standstill! The Devil will bury you in McDonald's if he thinks you'll reach a point where you can't function without it!

    Concerned about cancer...

"They will eat anything deadly, and it will not harm them" (Gospels, from memory). That said, I wouldn't risk it!

Unity of the faith - at what cost?

In response to the OP (again): Interestingly, I cultivated a division of my own, for Christianity and I wondered what the value of it was to the Lord - so I asked! The Lord basically said to me "What do you do?" that is, what do I do in the name of the division I have created. I think it...

Hope for backsliders! Your faith can get a second wind! (charging?)

I just have to reiterate, you need to endure in the second wind, to the end. "He who endures to the end, will be saved" (Jesus, Gospels, from memory). The Devil will fight you, if you have faith to the end, but only insomuch as he needs an escape from the pressure of his sin.

How much does God suffer, knowing He created to suffer? (character?)

Psalm 139:8 Jesus being the Creator, does not exonerate Him from suffering - that's my whole point; the Bible says He was "slain from the foundation of the world" Yes you are right, Jesus is with us through the influence of the Spirit.

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

The forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden, was "something new, on its own". Bathsheba, whom David saw was "something new, on its own". Achan who stole from AI was "[stealing] something new, on its own"

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Something worth considering: something new on its own, is against the law (selah). Something new on its own is against the Law, because God creates everything to be in relationship to Him. Saying God allows things to become new on their own, is saying God allows Creation to keep breaking the...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

This is a truth Evolutionists might consider liking: You can adapt more, staying what you were, than you can by changing and changing again (selah). In other words, intelligent design is a more effective case for adaptation, than positing a shift away from one adaptation to a whole class of...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Something I learned recently is that stages of design for a specific species, can be reordered. So for example a gene that makes wolves aggressive or passive, can make wolves passive or aggressive - depending on how the stage of a wolf in a wolf species is ordered against other expressions of...

One of the best things I ever learned, was to be still - pray that my brothers and sisters in Christ develop this fruit as well (please?)

Hi there, So I have meditated consistently for a couple of decades now and I have never looked back. Jesus said "by your patience possess your souls" (Gospels, from memory). I think we should take that seriously! "He who loves Me, keeps My words" (Gospels, from memory). The thing to note, is...

Oppression comes, from distorting the Gospel (twisted?)

Hi there, So it is a simple thought: the Gospel points to the Gospel, that's the Gospel (selah). But how does it play out? In reality there are many attempts at pointing to the Gospel, but only so many succeed. The rest become distortions of the Gospel, that twist and divert from the Gospel's...

Churches are failing as we all know.

Church attendance is a function of identity; identity is defended by purity; winning people over to these two things, requires scripture. Have you worked out, which scripture you will believe last? Once you reach Heaven, do you have a scripture you would like to turn to first? These are...

Jesus Came To Fulfill Not To Destroy

My church (Grace Baptist Church Watsonia) just did a sermon on this exact scripture, last Sunday!

Simple prophecy: Churches gonna be hot, churches gonna be cold (which is yours?) Discuss!

The world itself oscillates between happy hot and sad hot, happy cold and sad cold. Jesus said people were like "children sitting in the marketplace saying 'we played the flute and you did not dance, we mourned and you did not mourn with us" (gospels, from memory). That is an example of the...

Indisputable proof that the Premillennial theory contradicts Scripture

Can God not save souls before during and after the tribulation?

How much does God suffer, knowing He created to suffer? (character?)

David says in Psalms that God can be found in Hell. How is He in Hell, but not suffering? Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I AM". How can Jesus be prior to the Father of the Faith but not suffer (that is, be in need of his faith)? Indeed Jesus is called "God with us". How can He be called "with...
