Killer or Africanized Bees are an actual thing. We have them in Southern California. Just a couple of incidents listed below. This swarm attacked a volunteer officer who fell to the ground and also the Bee expert who arrived. Man hospitalized, two of his horses killed by bees...

Apparently the kitten was hiding under the engine of a car. Once the car hit the freeway, kitten dropped onto the road. Thankfully no one hit him. He did get a home afterwards.

We've had some Killer Bee attacks or hives found in Southern California. I'm not sure how far North they have gotten.

I can remember reading National Geographic as a child about Killer Bees. They were still in South America and it sounded unbelievable that they would eventually arrive in the USA.
