    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Your reply is typical of your nasty spirit! You attack the doctrines of Augustine, Luther and Calvin in the same perverted manner as you have misrepresented what I have written! I've never equated sexual intimacy in itself as love. Context indicates meaning. Just as with or similar to your...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Eze 16:48-50 KJVA "As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters. 49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither...

A Great Conservative Study Bible using the ESV that is ANTI-dispensational

It is difficult to find a scholarly, conservative Study Bible that is not either Dispensationalist, or Calvinist/Reformed. Though I'm a Baptist, I find the Lutheran Study Bible by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod to be my favorite, and the one I've gifted to friends and relatives. While it...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

"There are people who are pure in their own estimation, yet are not cleansed of their filth. There are people—how haughty are their looks, how disdainful their glances!—" (Prov 30:12-13 REB)

There is a Wealth of Bible-Reference Material Online for Deep Bible Study

"It is not the Bible which divides us but what we bring to the Bible. We come with our minds already conditioned, and in the words of God we still hear the echo of our own. We fail to listen to God in our obsession with our own thoughts." Myron S. Augsburger *This is especially harmful if...

The KJV of the Holy Bible is based on what? A question for all the KJO folks.

Dear Sister, you will find many wonderful helps on the www.archive.org web site. To access most books you must have an account, but the account is free, with donations gratefully accepted. It takes a little time to learn to use this web site efficiently, but it is well worth the effort. I am...

The KJV of the Holy Bible is based on what? A question for all the KJO folks.

The NEB & REB are not "Revised" versions, but totally new translations directly from the Hebrew and Greek. If you had been more interested in learning something rather than merely being childishly obtuse, you'd have understood. The RV, ASV, RSV, NRSV are revisions in the Tyndale-KJV tradition...

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

What "roman church" do you mean? The Roman Catholic Church changed century by century! They were not in centuries past, nor today the only church in history. There is a great record showing the growth of false doctrine in the RCC over the centuries. In the online pdf file, in a book about...

The KJV of the Holy Bible is based on what? A question for all the KJO folks.

The NEB is the New English Bible/1970, a translation from the UK. The REB/1989 is the Revised English Bible, a revision of the of the NEB. I do not know of any online access to the REB available. I have it on my 'theWord' Bible software purchased years ago, but it is no longer available...

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

Separating the 70th week from the 69th week is faulty human reasoning never thought of until up into the 19th century! "And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it." (Matt 16:18 RSV) "And I say to you: you are...

The KJV of the Holy Bible is based on what? A question for all the KJO folks.

It seems that most of the modern translations such as the RSV, NRSV, NEB & REB used an eclectic approach to the text, evaluating each verse individually. The NEB & REB are not "Revised" versions, but totally new translations directly from the Hebrew and Greek.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

If you check 2 Sam. 13:15, Amnon's rape of Tamar was referred to as "agape" love! It does not appear that the Septuagint distinguished the type of 'agape' love was we see it in the New Testament.

The Biblical World View Repudiates Communism & Socialism

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power, the glory, the splendour, and the majesty; for everything in heaven and on earth is yours; yours, Lord, is the sovereignty, and you are exalted over all as head. Wealth and honour come from you; you rule over all; might and power are of your...

Avoiding : The Cults.. #2 : CALVINISM -"TULIP"

One verse comes to mind that seems to include both perspectives of the new birth - "And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul." (Acts...

The KJV of the Holy Bible is based on what? A question for all the KJO folks.

Every translation has an agenda, bias or perspective, including the KJV. I find it important to keep in mind the particular bias of a translation. The RSV decided to translate the OT without a New Testament slant, trying to translate closer to how the OT Jew would understand the words. I like...

Avoiding : The Cults.. #2 : CALVINISM -"TULIP"

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1Pet 1:23 KJV) It is interesting that the English here, "born again", translates the Greek G313 ἀναγεννάω anagennao. The "born again" in John 3:3 is the Greek G1080 γεννάω...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Over many years I've arrived at the following understanding, striving to be as objective as possible. "And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit/H7194 qashar with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved/H157 ahab him as his own soul...

    What Does John 3:16 Mean?

There is humanistic Theology where man's idea is propped up by reading into a verse, which is 'eisegesis'. Biblical Theology is where you read out of a verse what God says, this is 'exegesis'. I strive to arrive at Biblical Theology by exegesis. For example with one verse - "For God so loved...
