Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

the problem is the NLT is so riddled with errors. it is not a bible I would recommend everyone read. readability is great, if it was sound in its doctrine. its not. My church attempted to start using it. so i did when i was teaching. The problem is we keep having to correct major issues with...

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

I see the New Living Translation as being far worse than even the NIV. I have not used a KJV since I was a teenage. I have used the NKJV since then. When my mother dies. i took her KJV to have as a momento. Every now and again I will get it out to reed it. There are times when I have to pick up...

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

No actually, It is a good book. but so is the NKJV the NASB and other bibles. Or I can read the NKJV or the NASB and understand better what is being said.. without having to do all this.

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

Post 73 is flawed. and does not answer the question. The language of the KJV is not even used today. Many of the words have totally different meanings, and some are not even used. So on the one hand, a young person may read it and not even know what the word means. or another person may read...

That is great for back when they interpreted the word (Although I am not sure they all were) But how does this help today?

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

I t5hink the answer to the question is almost two easy we all have individual minds. wants and desires. Satan is out to destroy us, and keep us from Coming to Gods truth. Satan makes up these very simple false truths in order to deceive people (play to their emotions or desires) Satan makes...

DOES BELIEF THAT ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED MEAN WE CAN SIN?

My God gave me a spirit of peace, Of sound mind. And an Abba father, He adopted me as his son, so i also have the spirit of adoption. I have nothing to fear. I can come to his throne as a son. Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit ofbondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit...

DOES BELIEF THAT ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED MEAN WE CAN SIN?

    1. Saul was not chosen of God. He was chosen by the people. There is no evidence he ever was saved. 2. God made a promise to Soloman’s Father, David taken from a people for his name.org Long before Solomon had been born, God made some special promises to David about a special son named...

Leaving the Law.. : By GRACE

If paul was under the law. He was cursed. And he had no hope. The law could not save anyone. So they are judged guilty and cursed. If you kept the whole law. Yet stumbled in one point, your guilty of the whole law. think about that for a minute a person who willingly commits millions of sin...

Leaving the Law.. : By GRACE

Smh the word sin is hamarte it literally means to fall shortt or to miss the mark. If I do somethign n the flesh, it is still sin, i still miss the mark. I am not perfect. I am however, if I am born again, still forgiven.

DOES BELIEF THAT ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED MEAN WE CAN SIN?

so do I Yes, he took my sin, and he paid the penalty of that sin on the cross 9the wage of sin is death) he paid the penalty for all my sin. Past present and future. I am not perfect. I am perfected in christ. But like you. When i commit a sin, although it is forgiven, it is still a sin...

DOES BELIEF THAT ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED MEAN WE CAN SIN?

It is inclusive If we (John included himself0 say we have no sin (have no active sin in our lives) we are decieved. its not difficult.. Thats why he immediately also tells us, when we do sin, to confess that sin. if I am a non believer, confessing a personal sin is not going to do me any...

DOES BELIEF THAT ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED MEAN WE CAN SIN?

Here is the truth I was given Christs righteousness. Bit I am not perfect. I grow every day, and learn more and more every day. But no matter what, I have been imputed the righteousness of Christ based on my faith not my works. lol.. To deny you have sin is to deny the truth of God. You are...
