In John chapter one the Word was with God and the Word was God, John the Baptist prepared the way and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Who else could the Word be?

John 3:16 says Jesus is the only begotten Son

I'm not arguing for the Trinity, I'm saying Jesus is the Word. Plenty of scriptures declare that Jesus is God.
