I would think 'once' is the key word! Faith that was once delivered was the faith of another.

Imo the Lord honors simplicity. Though the gospel has a depth to it ..it is simple. Don't get to intellectual, though we are intellectual beings. Use the mind you have for the Lord's work. Co-laborers as portrayed in scripture.
