    A Common Error

I must confess I have a finite mind and can’t fully grasp or understand the whole Bible, except those that God reveals to me. One of the many mysteries about the Godhead, I believe, is found in the Lord’s prayer in John Chapter 17. There, I can’t comprehend how Jesus asks that the Father make...

    A Common Error

I suppose your interpretation is clear to you, however, I would rather believe God than the wisdom of this world. What are you going to do with verses like: “and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him,” Matthew 17:5 Did...

    A Common Error

Page 2 But perhaps the most dramatic declaration of the Trinity lies in the manner in which the Scriptures declares that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit ALIKE raised Jesus from among the dead! In Acts 13:30 as well as Romans 6:4, is plainly stated that God the Father...

    A Common Error

@101G, Below, let me show you how God Himself describes the words “one” and “shared” after all, God is the Author of the Bible. The diabolical sons of Arius who deny that the ONE GOD JEHOVAH subsist as three persons love to quote Deuteronomy 6:4 in defense of their heresy, apparently, they are...

    A Common Error

Before disappearing and resurfaced again about two weeks ago, you and I were discussing your “oneness” doctrine, as you called it. As I recall, there were three events why I believe there are three distinct persons in the Godhead which I shared with you which you elected not to answer and then...

Is the Bible an instruction book on how to be saved?

Only if the writer/interpreter is faithful to the Book, as you call it.

Is the Bible an instruction book on how to be saved?

Once I gave a link to someone but that was the first and the last time and had nothing to do with the Gospel. I do not go outside of the Bible for truths. Commentaries are a help only if the writer is faithful to the word of God. BTW, the answer is Mark 2:7

Is the Bible an instruction book on how to be saved?

You should be sorry for you will have a rude awakening on Judgment Day. Jesus came to save the sins of His people at His first coming (Matthew 1:21). He will come as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords at His second coming to judge the living (believers) and the dead (unsaved) Romans 14:10-12.

Is the Bible an instruction book on how to be saved?

I agree. The World is one big stage where all who is to be born in the world will play a part. IOW, it is only a formality, a done deal. To God Be The Glory

Is the Bible an instruction book on how to be saved?

I beg to differ. Although God Is Sovereign in all things, He still abides by His own rules. He no set rules for Him and another for mankind. To God Be The Glory

Is the Bible an instruction book on how to be saved?

Just as Cornelius and the Jailer of Philippi were saved. They were drawn by God way before they acted! To God Be The Glory

Is the Bible an instruction book on how to be saved?

"Jesus spoke in parables and without a parable, He did not speak." A parable is an earthly story with a heavenly/spiritual meaning. This makes the WHOLE Bible a parable. Jesus could never have been my Savior if He was merely a man because only God can forgive sins. To God Be The Glory

Is the Bible an instruction book on how to be saved?

Most definitely! So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17 IOW, it is impossible to become saved without the hearing of the true Gospel. And where can we hear the Gospel? By reading the Bible. To God Be The Glory

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

This is where the understanding of “literal” and “spiritual” understanding comes in. I don’t believe Jesus meant to eat of His body literally. That would be Cannibalism and therefore He is teaching that we can murder. What I believe Jesus is teaching us here is that we are to partake/eat of...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Circumcision and baptism are outward signs. Both were used to signify people can enter into the family of God. Circumcision and baptism are rituals man performs and is in contrast with Ephesians 2:9. This is one doctrine I can agree with. How it amazes me that somehow false churches and its’...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Time and again I’ve said that those who post in these forums have no understanding of how to read or understand Scripture. For instance Romans 10:8-13 is one of many. Prior to Romans 10 we read in Romans 3:10, “As it is written, there is none that seeks after God, no, not one” If there is NONE...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

My thoughts: The Bible speaks of two baptisms, on one hand, it speaks of water baptism and on the other hand, it speaks of a spiritual baptism. Whether literal or spiritual both baptisms mean “to wash,” (what are we washed from, our sins?) however, there is only one baptism...by the washing of...

    His Name

Sorry, it didn’t. To tell the truth I’ve never heard of a “oneness” gospel until you mentioned it. Myself, I would rather believe what Scripture proclaims, that there are three distinct persons in the Godhead which BTW, is taught much clearer than the “oneness” doctrine... The Father, the Son...
