Please re-read the verses from Isaiah in my OP. God says that he gets what he wants. Is that what those verses say or am I misunderstanding?

I personally don't care to debate but rather go where the scriptures take me. Many Christians try to force the scriptures to fit into their theology and it usually doesn't work. Pride is not helpful in understanding God.
