The Book of James, an opinion

I use simple words and all I write is based on NKJV scriptures.

The Book of James, an opinion

Why do you insist that I am the one who is confused. Does it elevate your pride. Is it possible that it is you that is confused. No, you would never admit that because of pride. The conference at Jerusalem with Paul and the 12 in Acts 15 shows there was a difference in the gospel of the 12 for...

The Book of James, an opinion

If people would see that the 4 gospels were not the message of God's grace; that Jesus and the 12 never rescinded the Law of Moses. And that the Book of Acts is a transitional book from law to grace they would not be in so much controversy. But most religious people can not see this change...

The Book of James, an opinion

farouk, I have not denied that the book of James was inspired by the Holy Spirit. I said so in the OP. What I have shown is that it was not written to be used in the grace church of His body. The Holy Spirit inspired James to say WHO IT IS WRITTEN TO (James 1:1) It was not written to the...

The Book of James, an opinion

Fruits of the spirit are not works of man to gain from them. They are attitudes of the heart. IMHO there are some on this forum that show they do not have fruits of the spirit. Their fruit is their opinion or the highway. Gal 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace...

The Book of James, an opinion

No one can justify themselves, period. God justifies those who BELIEVE in the work of His Son on the cross. Believe = faith = trust = confidence all mean the same thing. What do you think justifies you? If you do not believe God then you can not be justified by His payment on the cross.

The Book of James, an opinion

So are you saying that our sins of the flesh were not paid for by Jesus on the cross. That we will still be judged for committing sins of the flesh even if God paid for them? The children of God have all their sins of the flesh paid for by God (Jesus). The judgement of those in Christ is for...

The Book of James, an opinion

You are saying that God does not know the heart of those that trust in His work on the cross unless they do works. I certainly don't believe that. It is God that knows the heart and He knows those that believe Him. I see no reason to say any more to you because it is obvious that you are of...

The Book of James, an opinion

Dave, you seem to have missed this part where Abraham was called righteous solely because he believed God. You don't seem to believe the scripture in Genesis 15. I am completely convinced that the religious will do anything to say that works of man have to be made so that God will reward them...

The Book of James, an opinion

There are many on this forum that can see what I wrote is the truth. You are just a Gadfly. If you don't know what a Gadfly is look it up in a Dictionary. All you ever do is try to assassinate the character of the posters. I am not alone. You do it to many other too. Like I said you are...

The Book of James, an opinion

Dave, you are just trying to rationalize this Why are you so afraid to see and proclaim to truth? Is it because you want to keep the law in play? It is not a person's willingness to do works. It is man's willingness to believe God. It is God who did the work for our salvation, not man doing...

The Book of James, an opinion

You have done as I predicted. You can't say what I wrote is wrong but you can say I am wrong. You are true to form, just a Gadfly.

The Book of James, an opinion

James 2:20-21 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? (NKJ) Okay, then how do you explain this? He was accounted righteous before God several years earlier...

    The "In Christ" Doctrine

The Judgement seat of Jesus; 1 Cor 3:11-15 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare...

    The "In Christ" Doctrine

Heb 12:2 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. NKJV 1 John 5:4-5 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the...

    The "In Christ" Doctrine

OUR ARK: (the “in Christ” doctrine) 2 Cor 1:19-22 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us-- by me, Silvanus, and Timothy-- was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. 20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us...

    The "In Christ" Doctrine

Written by: Robert Pate/ posted by H Richard This article is probably the most important thing that I have ever learned as a Christian. When I learned the "In Christ" doctrine it made an astounding difference in the way that I viewed the Bible. After I had embraced this doctrine the Bible...

    Dead Faith???

Every child of God has victory over their sins of the flesh because they are "IN CHRIST". Those are not just words to say nothing. Every child of God has been placed "IN CHRIST' and therefore their sins of the flesh are gone. If a person's sins are paid for then how can they condemn him/her...

    Dead Faith???

SANCTIFY = 1. TO MAKE HOLY; SPECIFCALLY, 2. TO MAKE FREE FROM SIN (PURIFY, TO SEPARATE AS HOLY; CONSECRATE Mankind can not do any of this. Only God can. It is the spirit that indwells the child of God that is sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Sinful flesh can not be made free from sin.

    Dead Faith???

Sorry Enoch111, you are saying our sanctification is by our works and that is not true. The children of God have already been sanctified (A DONE DEAL) by the Holy Spirit. It is not what we do. 1 Cor 6:11-12 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you...
