The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

Don't you know the bible? Romans 1? That is the point of seeking isn't it? To find what one doesn't yet have? And deep on the inside the HEART knows enough (even when the brain doesn't), to seek what it doesn't yet know.....if they will only do that instead of continuing to reject and rebel...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

God will reveal Jesus to hearts if they are truly seeking Him and seeking the truth and if they open to Him when He comes knocking. And the human race is without excuse not to seek Him....since what may be known of God can be seen in creation. I don't think you understand what restoration...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

Oh dear, don't you know that was before Christ came and before He was revealed? That's why it says, "They without us would not be made perfect." (And those earlier saints were saved by faith much as believers are in this age - the earlier ones had faith in God before He was manifest in the...

Trump vying for Greenland and Canada

Jesus told His disciples that because He was about to be taken from them for a time....it was meant to be a deterrent only, to discourage the arresting band from arresting the disciples along with Jesus. (And I believe there is even another deeper message in His words.) As for every President...

Trump vying for Greenland and Canada

Please be patient, I'm not young anymore and don't keep up with threads as well as I used to. This is the verse in question: 1Co 7:29-31 (KJV) But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep, as though...

Trump vying for Greenland and Canada

Well, I want to remind you about 1812. Whose idea was that, and perhaps we should consider that God sovereignly decided the issue...? Do you want another war of 1812 which would not involve just a handful of muskets this time? Good golly, someone please talk some sense to the President-elect...

Trump vying for Greenland and Canada

You disagree? That's what the bible says, new testament. I will give you chapter and verse if you need it. But it doesnt seem you understand what it is saying if you think it is saying there is something wrong with "wanting our material needs met". Do you understand what idolatry is? Read...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

I know it isn't (the word trinity) but the deity of Christ is talked about all over the place. Did the Reformers do everything perfectly..? No, they seemed to have been restored to the basic foundational gospel and praise the Lord for that, but they also had or fell into some error. That is...

Trump vying for Greenland and Canada

Wow. Have you consider there are some taboos that exist, thankfully, because of the influence of Christianity in the world..? Governments have a responsibility to act wisely and administrate national affairs in the best interests of their nation. But we as believers need to distinguish...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

Because no-one can do the will of God apart from Him and abiding in Him. "Without me you can do nothing." We aren't called to go around trying to establish our own righteousness (which falls short of the glory of God) , but need to submit to the righteousness of God in Christ. (That's where...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

Even though you are ascribing a meaning that GOD didn't intend? You know, something that is said only actually means what the person saying it means, not what others may ascribe to it.

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

Oh sister, beware of the carnal reasonings of man, it is a snare for the soul. "Denominations" aren't even mentioned in the bible...they are the inventions of men who depart from the simplicity that is in Christ. It's not about denominations but about individual souls who either belong to Him...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

Who is the Body of Christ? Jesus said His brothers/sisters/mother/father are those who do the will of His Father. Same with those who may say "Lord, Lord, didn't we do thus and such for you?" and what Jesus replied there, saying only those who do the will of His Father will enter the kingdom...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

I've already explained that verse to you more than once, but you don't seem to have ears to hear. We always need ears to hear what the Spirit is saying (and for that we need to have His Spirit and be relying on Him, not our carnal mind). It means His sacrifice was not only for the sins of...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

No it is not a "decision" as such...we can't do this by ourselves "Apart from me you can do nothing."......and it's not about "saying a little prayer".......it's an act of God when the person opens their heart to Him when He comes knocking. It's a genuine miracle that takes place in one's heart...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

Yes, these things are hard to be understood and we are seeing through a glass darkly. But the bible does say we are elect according to His foreknowledge, so I think it is safe to receive and accept that. Those who reject the words of God on salvation essentially accuse Him of being unrighteous...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

Yes I believe Jesus did die for all in one sense, but all will not receive that indescribable gift sadly. Jesus said "Ye MUST be born again." He preached the necessity of believing on Him and receiving His Spirit. We need ears to hear what the Spirit is saying with these things.

Trump vying for Greenland and Canada

Threatening a nation's sovereignty so you can steal their natural resources doesn't make them feel all neighbourly and family-like, I assure you. That's always a scenario in which other things get broken between nations, not bread. Unless DT is just nipping our heels to try and make Canada...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

What does the scripture say? "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever would believe on Him would never perish but have eternal life." Ergo He died for all who would believe/receive Him. And He has foreknown from the beginning who would......it is hard to understand...

The broad spectrum of Christianity VERSUS the narrow-minded view

Amen brother. As you often point out, this common ground and interfaith is the wisdom of the world and flesh...it isn't God's truth and wisdom. People are being deceived. Yes, false accusations abound against the people of God. Narrow minded, haters, judgmental etc. Numbered with the...
