THE Trinity can Now be discussed.

Premise - Paul quoting OT Scripture not mentioning the Holy Spirit. Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable...

THE Trinity can Now be discussed.

Premise - person X doesn't mention that he is born again. Fallacy - person X is not born again.

    Harmful Doctrines Part 2

I think that one day we should have a good discussion about holiness and what it means. We are not gods and never will become gods, do you have Scripture to offer for your statements? We are not into Mormonism, are we ?

    Harmful Doctrines Part 2

2 Cor 5:9 - So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. [ESV] 2 Cor 5:9 - Wherefore also we are ambitious, whether at home or away from home, to be well pleasing to him, [YLT] 2 Cor 5:9 - Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him...

    Who Created God

God is uncreated, simple. I remember a YouTube video, the high priest of atheism (Richard Dawkins) was interviewed about the existence of the universe and life by a knowledgeable Christian journalist who intellectually put him (Dawkins) in a corner and to save himself (Dawkins) said -- perhaps...

    Who Created God

The question who created God is as stupid as the question - to whom is the bachelor married, tell that to atheists sml

    Harmful Doctrines Part 2

A couple of things - 1. On 38:00 the video states it quotes a passage of 2 Cor 5:9, but the text isn't about 2 Cor 5:9, a typo? Or maybe I need new glasses :csm 2. I did not quite understand what you said about sanctification, would you agree with gotquestions sanctification as a process ?

Rom 9:22 - What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, It's the key verse of Romans 9, easily to overlook. People (like Pharaoh) don't become vessels of wrath because they are innocent, but after...

Not me. John Calvin teaches - Unconditional election says that God chooses to save some people and to pass over others. He has a love for some people that He does not have for others. That's not in Scripture.

Hello Bladerunner - Do you realize : 1. That the topic of the thread is -- Freed : From Calvinism and HyperCalvinism )Tulip<>5 Pont. -- 2. And as such I am arguing against Calvinism and HyperCalvinism )Tulip<>5 Point. 3. That the questions you asked are already answered in the post you...

Calvin (in the U of Unconditional Election section of TULIP) states - Unconditional election says that God chooses to save some people and to pass over others. He has a love for some people that He does not have for others. And according to Calvin there is no way to know it who is elect and...

Calvin - 1. The covenant of life is not preached equally to all, and among those to whom it is preached, does not always meet with the same reception. This diversity displays the unsearchable depth of the divine judgment, and is without doubt subordinate to God’s purpose of eternal election...

I don't doubt, I just reasoned against TULIP, Calvinism and Reformed theology. I am raised in a (back then) Calvinistic / Reformed country. In my youth I was told that after death God decides where I will end up in Heaven or Hell and that there is no way you can know that in this life because...

Or maybe your logic is wrong? Consider that if the Apostle John were into TULIP he would never have said that, as he can't read the mind of God if the people he wrote to belong to God's elect, so he wasn't into TULIP. Amen to that and glory to God.

If Christian Universalism is true, what's the point in evangelism?

In the hypothetical case universalism is true while Jesus said "preach the Gospel" then go back to the point when things got wrong (Gen 3) and reason from there?

    Do Americans

I like this one..... One day a group of Darwinian scientists got together and decided that man had come a long way and no longer needed God. So they picked one Darwinian to go and tell Him that they were done with Him. The Darwinian walked up to God and said, "God, we've decided that we no...
