God Created All Humanity When He Created Adam

Why do so many of you think that God would punish all of humanity for what one man did. Where is God's grace and glory in that? Where is God's justice in that? Do you punish all your kids when one does something that needs punishing? I wouldn't think so. Why would you think God would do...

God Created All Humanity When He Created Adam

Then you obviously do not understand the concept of contradiction. The fruit of the Tree of life did not, upon eating it once, bring immortality. It was a prophylactic fending off dying. The whole fruit eating thing is metaphoric. If literal, why didn't God just put a tree in the Garden...

What is the purpose of infant baptism?

Ah yes. That is always the dilemma in such cases isn't it? There is no easy answer. In this particular case, when Jesus said, "this is my body", it clearly wasn't literally His body or any part of His body at the time He said it. When Paul spoke of the Lord's supper in 1 Corinthians 11, it...

God Created All Humanity When He Created Adam

I didn't die from being ejected, he died because he no longer had access to the fruit which would keep him from dying. He died because death is intrinsic to all physical life. That is the way God created it.

God Created All Humanity When He Created Adam

Romans 5:12 ESV 12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned-- And yes, this death is spiritual death. The entire physical universe is limited. Death is an integral part of the creation of physical...

God Created All Humanity When He Created Adam

Adam didn't die physically because he sinned. Physical death is an integral feature of the physical creation. Adam died physically because God ejected him from the Garden and he no longer had access to the tree of life (Gen 3:22). He died spiritually when he sinned. That is the same with us...

What is the purpose of infant baptism?

The seven great "I AM"s in John's gospel are found in John 6:35; 9:12; 10:9; 19:11; 11:25; 14:6; 15:5. I don't think any of those should be taken as literal descriptions of the physical being of Jesus. But of course you are free to view them all as you wish.

Elect or Not Elect: Why ALL Should Be Alarmed

And Satan would be super proud of you for pushing Calvin's heretical gospel.

What is the purpose of infant baptism?

Almost nothing about the "eucharist" as defined and established by the RCC exists within the NT. It is essentially a construct of the RCC wholly apart from the NT.

Why are Christians leaving their churches?

Yes. I edited it. Thank you.

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

I think you are introducing some RCC contrived philosophy into this. There is no indication in the whole rest of he NT that there is any "high priest" of the church other than Jesus Christ. And throughout the entire Bible, the "rock", when not referring to the mineral material, nearly always...

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Yes, but I am not sure that I understand your point. Matthew has provided the explanation of whatever it was that Jesus intended.

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

There were selected individuals written about in the Old Testament who were chosen by God for special roles who were given special assistance through the Holy Spirit. But there is no indication that it was at all universal to the faithful as it is under His New Covenant. That was the prophecy...

Why are Christians leaving their churches?

Just another example of the devastation brought about by the false doctrine of Original Sin.

Why are Christians leaving their churches?

No, it does not. Those babies are not lost and have no need of "being saved". Mat 19:14 but Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven."

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Where in the Old Testament do you read about anyone being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit? Yes, the death of Jesus on the Cross was retroactive back to the very beginning as the punishment for the sins of the world, both...

What is the purpose of infant baptism?

That was the gift of the empowering Holy Spirit, not the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit. That "same gift" that Peter referred to was that which He and the rest there who were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:6 and Acts...

Is Swearing a Violation of the Ten Commandments? - No. - Well, maybe... ???

You are positing some of the faulty arguments given by the early American slave holders. I won't bother to go through the counter arguments here. You can look that up on your own and then make up your own mind which is best.

Is Swearing a Violation of the Ten Commandments? - No. - Well, maybe... ???

But none of those passages condone slavery generally or condone Christians owning slaves. All are little more than recognition of the existence of slavery. And by the way, slavery is not uncommon in parts of the world today. Some obvious examples are China and North Korea even if it is state...
