Obeying Acts 2:38 is the only plan of salvation

This is pure Grace... 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Obey and celebrate it.

    Was Mary sinless?

You’re making a silly argument. I am KJVO. Of course I wouldn’t say the word sibling is in the Bible.

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

May I add… Forgives the repentant believer when he is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ specifically

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

1 Thessalonians 4 speaks of a catching away prior to the second coming of Jesus. It is the same depiction that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24 with one taken and the other left.

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Does this… Then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins… Bother you? Should this verse be ignored? If you ask Peter “what shall I do””?”, Would you want a different answer than this?

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Baptism alone does not remove sin, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is for the remission of sins.

Obeying Acts 2:38 is the only plan of salvation

The cross is directly connected to the burial with Christ. If you do not get baptized, in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins, you still have him hanging on the cross and not buried. You left him out for the buzzards to devour.

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Is that the same same resurrection as the one depicted in first Thessalonians chapter 4?

Obeying Acts 2:38 is the only plan of salvation

So… Then Peter said to them repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Do you think that all of it is the law or only certain parts? Which parts are law and which parts are grace?

I was commenting on the verses. Think.

Obeying Acts 2:38 is the only plan of salvation

Simply, all of Christendom is about this… What is the name of the son per Matthew 28:19? Rarely can a Christian man answer this. This to me is the mystery of the ages and a spiritual mind block that is happening all over the Earth. I have posted this question as a thread on multiple forums and...

Correction: Psalm 22 quoted the future Jesus.

Okay, so will you survive the GT to the end or die before it ends?

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Do you believe that there will be a catching away of the Saints prior to the great tribulation?

Obeying Acts 2:38 is the only plan of salvation

Are you trying to say that obeying Acts 2:38 is obeying the law of the Old Testament?

Obeying Acts 2:38 is the only plan of salvation

That’s not what I said. Peter commanded Cornelius and his family and friends to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Can you obey that command or not?

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

    What are you?

    Was Mary sinless?

No, I did not, I just said siblings as a description of Jesus‘s brothers and sisters. Funny how you Catholics read between the lines.

    Was Mary sinless?

I did not say “siblings “was in the Bible. I was using it to describe Jesus‘s mother, brothers and sisters that’s described in the Bible. I also gave you the verse that said Joseph knew her not till. You know, until. What married people do.
