I put this on 3 different Facebook Christian sites and also sent it to a few of my friends. I sent it with this heading... How did the Churches miss this? I did not write any of this, but saw it today online.

I do not know why we have so many Christians who believe the entire Bible is written directly to them, the Church of God. There is nothing in the Bible to indicate such thinking, and I would like to add nothing could be further from the truth. It's true the Word of God was written for everyone...

Isaiah is in the Old Testament and has nothing to do with Christians.

Be careful because @keithr is a smart guy. Even I have learned to look stuff up before responding to him. If he says... "The paradise that Jesus was referring to was the coming paradise on the earth, when Jesus returns and establishes his kingdom on the earth." Then that's probably true.

so according to your logic here, Jesus is not divine 1.) Jesus is not divine like how the Catholics teach. Jesus did not physically rise from the dead 2.) Catholics do not teach Jesus rose from the dad. They teach God rose from the dead. Jesus has not ascended into heaven 3.) Catholics teach...

I don't know this stuff. I have heard heaven is for Christians and paradise for Israel. I figure I will either be in one place or the other. The Scriptures say we will have a body similar to the body Jesus now has. I don't know what kind of a body Israel will have.

I did not have the heart to tell him they are not gifts. They are the manifestations of the spirit and everyone has them if they have the spirit.

Anybody who knows something about the Bible has or had teachers. I do however, believe some on here do not since they do seem to make up all kinds of stuff that never saw a verse. It's perfectly fine to quote my teachers and I do so in many places and list them here... 1 Kittel, G., ed...
