    Well said.

    Being Faithful to God

The fact that you equate OSAS and legalist shows your inability to comprehend the two sides of the spectrum. As for your false accusation against me of being a legalist shows you do not read my comments and only dwell on one line you feel you can pick apart. all this shows is a lack of maturity...

    Being Faithful to God

OSAS supporters and legalists are two opposite ends of the spectrum, there is no such thing as an "OSAS legalist" as this is an oxymoron. Lasciviousness literally means lawlessness. In fact here is the definition.... unbridled lust, excess, licentiousness, lasciviousness, wantonness...

    Being Faithful to God

Yes, and who was Jude contending with? Those who turn the grace of God in lasciviousness. (Jude 1:4) AKA the "grace cults" You see church history itself is dotted with these swings between law and grace, Bondage and liberty, just like the Journey of the believer is. It is in fellowship that we...

    Being Faithful to God

False, a child of the faith needs to continue in the faith (Paul Said that, BTW Col. 1:23) In other words the responsibility (not a popular word these days) is on the Believer to remain in the faith. As a child of the faith you are going to swing to and fro between the two perspectives of Grace...

    Being Faithful to God

Yet you are continually saying these legalists are heretics, and hypocrites, and that verses like Hebrews 6 speak of those who were never born again, yet they were "partakers of the Holy Spirit". My view is that until we reach that full assurance of the faith, and the eternal security that is...

    Being Faithful to God

I asked this of BB and he could not give a straight answer so i will ask you.... OSAS believers like yourself claim there is nothing that can separate the Born again from the grace of God and their salvation, yet they continually say that falling into legalism is falling away from grace and...

    The Crucified Life: Watchman Nee

Each person is different. As someone raised in the church, God had to make me weaker and weaker before I could crucify the fleshly man. You see for me the biggest hang up was my mental hubris, that aspect of the human will and strength that has it all figured out... theology, philosophy...

    The Crucified Life: Watchman Nee

Amen! Deliverance from sin is a gift of God's grace. He does the work in us. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)

    The Crucified Life: Watchman Nee

You believe in the death of the Lord Jesus and you believe in the death of the thieves with Him. Now what about your own death? Your crucifixion is more intimate than theirs. They were crucified at the same time as the Lord but on different crosses, whereas you were crucified on the selfsame...

What if you lose your faith?

Amen, So did I. The Post was very autobiographical and a testimony of my own journey. I find that when I share these things others find themselves somewhere in this journey as well and can relate. I Know each of us has a different set of circumstances in their journey to overcome. Mine is of a...

    Interesting and informative button?

The choices here are like and unlike.... I read many posts here, but do not like all to give them a "like", yet I may find some interesting and informative material in the post. Any chance we could get this sort of opinion option on this forum? Or is this too difficult to do? As an example: @...

What if you lose your faith?

You are still not addressing the contradiction in this post and in general the OSAS camp. If no born again believer can fall away then the one who falls into legalism cannot fall away from grace.... This is what forces me to say OSAS is a false doctrine, mind you I believe in eternal security...

What if you lose your faith?

You see at least how this contradicts the OSAS argument at the very least here, don't you? It is easy to condemn someone for being a legalist, but ultimately we do not know the heart. Perhaps God is getting them to overcome a sin or weakness in them by pushing them towards legalism at that time...

What if you lose your faith?

Hey BB, Hypothetical question for you... Let us say someone falls into legalism, have they not "left the faith"? I say this with with regard to your "it was me" statement above. see, for me as much as the "free gracers" speak of OSAS, yet they in many cases hold this as the exception to the...

What are Spirits and How Do We War Against Them?

As one who has been under attack from demonic forces since i was young, there is much in this topic that is not discussed in most churches. The adversary has hierarchies of demonic forces at his disposal, from the carnal such as the incubus and succubus to the higher powers such as Legion and...

King of kings and Lord of lords

This is a beautiful confirmation of the deity of Christ. Just like Christ is called "almighty". Almighty by definition means there is none mightier, which throws the theories of some that Jesus is less than God under the bus. Exactly... Hallelujah!

    QUESTION: Virgin Mary, Holy Mary

God does not want automatons, but free thinkers who have submitted their will to His will, freely and willingly, under no fear.

    QUESTION: Virgin Mary, Holy Mary

Because Liberty breeds plurality, not uniformity to Dogma. Unity comes with the perfecting of the saints.... many members one body In Christ. The diversity is all part of God's plan for the church to enable them to overcome Human pride (Original sin). Because they were still "children of the...

The Deity of Jesus under attack on this forum.

1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
