Why are there four Gospel accounts in the New Testament?

Yes, Mark was written first before Matthew.

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

I'm on a diet so no sugar. But I love salt, so my breakfast will have to be from the laundry!

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

In Mark 16:16-18 is the SIGN of tongues for us to use individually TO God for prayer or praise. No interpretation listed In 1 Corinthians 12 we have the GIFT of diverse kinds of tongues. That's the full name shortened to gift of tongues. WITH the gift of interpretation of tongues.

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

You eat socks??? Are they clean socks? Or from the laundry?

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

Think again. It clearly says they will cease when we SEE HIM FACE TO FACE. That is the 2nd Coming. Besides seeing God through a dark glass his how we see God now through the incomplete picture of His majesty in the writings. Also take a course in covenants 101. NOTHING ceases inside of a...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

Sorry Ronald, Barney started a conversation and that's where we've been. Is there any particular thing you want me to explain, rather than everything I believe.

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

I know the answer and live it.

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

LOL I've got GE on ignore, but it is fun to read the responses to his posts. But I still won't read what he said.

We’re the two witnesses from the past?

I agree. The reason why God chose Moses and Elijah at the Transfiguration was because they represented the law and the prophets. The God spoke from heaven to the apostles and said, "Hear Him." And Moses and Elijah disappeared. That era was done. But I do believe they were there to be the two...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

Well, I'm holding my breath and turning blue! Hurry up! Seeing as this is from you and not someone else's writing, use my scriptures and what I wrote and just answer them. Give me the first half or fourth and let me start.

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

Was wondering if you are going to directly answer the Scriptures I used, or are you going to cut and paste so you don't have to type something, but its in general and totally unrelated to each point, and I'll have to do the dissecting. Don't worry about it, I have more time than you do and can...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

When we rest in the finished work of Jesus at the cross, what does that mean to us? How does that change us, or does it? How do we rest? Go to sleep?

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

I'm not a child, so be honest. Just, no sarcasm. Tell what you believe and why scripturally.

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

Right, it can't. But we have liberty to go to church (assemble yourself together Heb. 10:25) on the old Sabbath day, or on Sunday a holy tradition, not law. If it is a matter of conscience - OBEY YOUR CONSCIENCE! After all, that is also where the laws are now written; called our heart. P. S. Be...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

No more questions, I'll just show you, okay? John 3:7-8 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Why was the...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

It has to do with what Paul meant by works. He was talking against the physical works of Judaism, like circumcision, feast days, Sabbath days and years, and foods. What does works mean to you and Ron? The reason why I said that what Ron said could be twisted is because of the notion that to...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

I would not be offended seeing as how important it is to Jesus. So if I care about someone's salvation, I would care if they were born again of the Spirit or not. And in this case it has to do directly with the Spirit of the Sabbath. So if you are offended, why? What does it mean to you seeing...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

Where is it written that there will be a "controversy over the Sabbath"? Remember, I would like to use Scripture when making a statement of belief. And I expect you are talking about the letter of the law. What does this mean? Romans 7:6 6 But now we have been delivered from the law, having...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

My reply to him is #127 But the answer is no. It is very incomplete. Do either of you or Ron know WHY justification through works by our own power like the Jews did, didn't make anyone righteous? But faith without works is dead?
