Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

It is to his congregation, and we all know that not everyone who comes to a church is saved. Certainly not everyone knows the meaning of the Word of God. You say you are a Christian, and yet you definitely do NOT know the Truth that can set you free. John 8:32-36 Rather you want to praise John...

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

The TRUTH of God's Word. Don't you care what God means by His Words? I do. And 1 John 1:8 is not a Christian, but the next verse makes them one. John 8:32-36. The TRUTH shall make you free. Jesus frees us from sin, and if you believe His Words and He makes you free, you are NOT LYING if you say...

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

I did. I asked, why else would they want to believe it says all Christians are sinners. They see themselves as a sinner. They want to justify their weakness. #49

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

I'm talking about those who misinterpret 1 John 1:8 to mean it is describing all Christians. Not everything is about you personally.

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

What other reason could there be to post against holiness with a misinterpretation of 1 John 1:8?

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

If you believe 1 John 1:8 describes every Christian, then you should use a paraphrase.

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

If you want to justify sin, I can't change your mind. Only the Spirit can.

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

I understand both Paul and John. What you don't understand is there are two types of sin. 1 John 5:16-17 1 John 3:9 uses the context of 1 John 3:4 (sins unto death) 1 John 2:1 uses the context of 1 John 1:7 (sins not unto death called trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15)

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

I can understand the KJV, but prefer the NKJV, even with a few faults. At least, it has all of God's word and doesn't cut off vital conditions like in Romans 8:1. Compare NKJV and NASB. However, there are still those who need a little help understanding God's Word, and the Good News helps those...

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

Those who keep sinning have never been born again, so if you sin, you still have hope to BECOME a true Christian. It is not too late. You cannot become righteous in the flesh. Our nature must die and become born again. 2 Peter 1:9 says that our old sins (only) are cleansed. We are suppose to be...

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

We are holy because we are born again of HIS SPIRIT empowering us. God isn't making fake Christians, but those LIKE His Son. The problem with those with your defeatist teaching is you have no idea of the POWER OF GOD.

Copy me on what you preach so I can make sure it is what the apostles mean, okay? I've studied this a long time. I like to teach worthy seekers of truth. Here is a couple examples of another Semitic writing style called a parallelism. One identifies and clarifies the second with key words tying...

How? This is the part of grace you don't understand.

5 Years Are Left Until the Return of Yeshua in 2026 AD

I know that, but I know more. The seven year paradigms keep happening. The first was 67 BC to 60 BC Antiochus Epiphanes IV with the defiledment of the altar in the middle by a pig on the altar; the second 66 AD to 73 AD Nero and Titus with the destruction of the temple in the middle, the third...

5 Years Are Left Until the Return of Yeshua in 2026 AD

This doesn't leave enough time for a 7 year Great Tribulation and the revealing on the Antichrist. But I do believe the prophecy in the Epistle of Barnabas.

5 Years Are Left Until the Return of Yeshua in 2026 AD

NASA is telling us it will be a near miss but they actually don't know, and wouldn't tell us if they knew for sure. The Pentagon doesn't want to cause a panic. The trajectory, if it hits the earth will be on the shoreline at the boarder of California and Mexico. It is four football fields in length.

5 Years Are Left Until the Return of Yeshua in 2026 AD

I know the Epistle of Barnabas, chapter 15 is about this. But I don't know if we can accurately determine when day one of creation was. I know NASA is watching an asteroid that will be here on April 13, 2029 which may fulfill Rev. 8. So minus the 7 years of Tribulation, the Antichrist should be...

I don't know if you have ever learned about the writing styles of the apostles. They were Hebrews, thus wrote in an Eastern mindset. Most on those on the forums have a Western mindset, taking scriptures at face value but I've noticed usually miss what the apostle is meaning from what he says...

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

@Enoch111 Seeing as he has be on ignore, ask him his definition of grace. BTW I love your misapplication of 1 John 1:8 onto a Christian when the next verse is how to become a Christian and to be cleansed of ALL unrighteous. The Good News Translation as no problem understanding that 8 and 9 go...

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

@Enoch111 Here is the part about 1 John 1:8 that you probably didn't even read. 1 John 3 is the truth that will help you question if your interpretation of a verse about those before confession of their sin and becoming a Christians is even logical. It certainly made me take a second look...
