    The Iran situation

Well, here we are again about to embark on yet another misadventure in this stupid desert that can never just be peaceful. I think that President Trump should keep us out of the war. Netanyahu attacked the nation of Iran while negotiations between Iran and the US were still ongoing. His...

Why supporting convicted felon Trump is unchristian

I'm really not interested in trying to prove it either way. I think it's mostly irrelevant to the discussion.

Why supporting convicted felon Trump is unchristian

Yes, that's called politics. Politicians lie when they enter the arena. Did you ever really believe Trump when he said he was a Christian? I remember laughing out loud because it was so preposterous. You will never get what you want if you mix politics with morality. It's oil and water. We...

Why supporting convicted felon Trump is unchristian

It was more a figure of speech. Whether there is or isn't a devil, the left has clearly fallen into madness.

Why supporting convicted felon Trump is unchristian

The left has turned into a cult. In religious terms, they've taken Jesus down from the cross and put "identity" in his place. That is the god they worship now. I don't always agree with Trump, but I voted for him. He is mild reformer at best, and as such, I don't expect anything too drastic...

    Grover’s question

    Yes. We aren't guaranteed tomorrow.

    Grover’s question

To survive. If animals could speak, I imagine they would say much the same.

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

Not everyone is a detective. Nor do we have all the time in the world. But some people do. I look up those people on YouTube. XD

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

For something touted as a very deep and personal relationship, this sounds very one sided. So we are to pray, to sound like fools to those around us, to ourselves even, and hope that someone is listening? Plus, if God's will is going to be done regardless, I fail to see how my prayers are going...

    So, you’ve rejected Jesus. Why?

I assumed you thought it was true and not a mythological story. I was somewhat taken aback by the specific spot on the map where this event supposedly took place. Thanks for clarifying.

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

But how does the natural man not see asking God for help also as foolishness? It's all connected. When I do pray, I don't feel like anyone hears me.

    So, you’ve rejected Jesus. Why?

Interesting. How do you know this to be true?

    So, you’ve rejected Jesus. Why?

Where did he send them? The Arctic?

    So, you’ve rejected Jesus. Why?

Fair enough. But everything rests on that story being true.

    So, you’ve rejected Jesus. Why?

It's just a story. Then why did he get so upset in the story? It's interesting that he couldn't just forgive them then. People have been saying that for years. They live, they die, and it never happens. He even told his followers that he would return within their lifetimes. But he didn't...

    So, you’ve rejected Jesus. Why?

Probably continue to debate the topic.

    So, you’ve rejected Jesus. Why?

The condition of man in the garden was little different than that of a pet. They only knew themselves when they ate from the tree. Why is having knowledge such a threat to God? Because everyone dies and never comes back. Even Jesus hasn't come back. Perhaps. But if what you tell me is true...

    So, you’ve rejected Jesus. Why?

Going to heaven to be with God isn't the goal? Then what is? I rejected Jesus because I don't believe he can save me from death. I think I've lived a fairly decent life, such that I wouldn't buckle while being judged. Although the thought of eternal punishment is obviously unpleasant.

    So, you’ve rejected Jesus. Why?

I appreciate your candidness, Matthias. We need more of that these days. My next question is, why do so many believe it is true? I'm not sure what you're asking. Can you elaborate, please?
