Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

Please show me in scripture that a Christian is not a Born Again? There is no where in scripture that says a Christian is not a Born Again.....it’s just your mere speculation...which is not Gods word

Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

No. A Christian is born again, a born again is a Christian. Post Scripture to prove they are not the same.

Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

Posting passages of scripture doesn't mean you have the slightest notion of what they mean. Everything you think about those passages is simply your opinion and only your opinion. And those opinions are usually wrong. And that is my opinion.

Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

Since you think there is a difference between being born again and being a Christian, it is obvious that you know what either one means. that is most definitely not taught by the Holy Spirit.

Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

You are talking about yourself. Everything you just posted is your opinion. I posted Scripture to support my case. I didn't evade anything. I posted the scripture. 1 Corinthians 3:1 is addressed to his readers. You are one of his readers. 1 Corinthians 3:1 is scripture.

Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

You just did that yourself by posting 1 Corinthians 2. That entire chapter is Paul's defense of his divine inspiration. Your opinion about what it means is irrelevant. Paul states in verse 4, "my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit...

Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

Paul, in that chapter is describing and defending his and the other apostles and prophets divine inspiration and revelation by the Holy Spirit. When He says "we have the mind of Christ", he is talking about himself and the other apostles and prophets who are divinely inspired. He is not...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Rev 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark...

Sexual perversion is a abomonation deserving death.

Every sin, no matter how innocuous it might seem to you, deserves death, the second death. That is a fundamental precept of the Bible. Adam simply ate fruit from a tree that God told him not to. And he died spiritually. The "I am not as bad as him" is not a defense in any sense whatever.

Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

As much as I hate what John Dewey did to our educational systems, I don't think the problem with different definitions of words in the Bible is with Dewey. The problem is the fundamental differences in theology. For example it is not a dictionary difference, even in the original language, in...

Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

And there we have the perfect example of what I just spoke about above in reply #34.

Born Again or Christian? Is there a difference and what is your biblical support ?

The problem is not usually what the Bible says, although sometimes it can be when different translations are involved. It is usually what does the Bible mean by what the Bible says. In order to discuss anything rationally, it is necessary to have some agreement on the definition and meaning of...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

To be born again is to be saved; or at least it is a part of being saved. From the words of Jesus, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved...." I must leave now. I will be back later. I think there is a fundamental problem here about what it means to need to be saved, what it means...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

You have asked several questions. Which one specifically are you asking now? I have a question for you. How high is up? When you answer that question, maybe I will try to answer your question differently than I have already.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Rom 10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? That is the answer.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

A Christian is one who is in Christ. Not all who claim to be Christian, to be in Christ, are truly Christian. But that is for them, not us, to say. And you have said it.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Which as I have said previously, that only means that you either do not know what it means to be a Christian or you do not know what it means to be born again; but it would seem to be both.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Well unless I had someone who was very knowledgeable about the Bible, I probably wouldn't know much about Him. Rom 10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone...
