    Everyone Goes to Heaven

The guy who spoke these words, or should I say, the prophet of the LORD spaketh unto them and sayeth. Isaiah wrote this quote around 700bce so if he was asking people to read something then it had probably had to be already written. Unless there is another way of reading something that hasn't...

    Everyone Goes to Heaven

I tend to not limit myself to the one source, namely the bible. In fact I go out of my may to resist my, if I can put it this way, natural default tendency to go to the bible and quote the bible. I know this may not scratch the itch many believe can only come from using the bible as their back...

    Everyone Goes to Heaven

Once there were a few guys who came up with the idea of building a rail road from the city to the wild west/outback. One was an entrepreneur from the city, another a farmer from out west and another an engineer. The purpose for building this rail road was twofold. For the entrepreneur, it was...

    Misunderstandings about hearing the Lord

Excellent. They find God as their source of truth and life that endures forever. I am happy for them. I guess I'd ask, are they happy that others like myself find God as our source of truth and life that endures forever and the means is NOT the bible at all?

    Everyone Goes to Heaven

1 Cor 4:6 Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, “Do not go beyond what is written.” Then you will not be puffed up in being a follower of one of us over against the other. 7 For who...

    Everyone Goes to Heaven

I'm not sure what you are encouraging and edifying others in. Is it the eternal Person of Jesus Christ and the eternal Person of the Spirit of Truth or is it in a book? If its the book, then no thanks. If you are referring to the Persons of God, the Creators, then absolutely!

    Everyone Goes to Heaven

Thanks. And this is what is so amazing. God's thoughts expressed in word give life to those He has chosen to enlighten. And to know that God's words are constantly being spoken to us by His Spirit of Truth ever since He arrived on earth and started entering into humans. And to be recipients of...

    Everyone Goes to Heaven

If you are refering to recalling what Jesus said when Jesus was on earth, nor do I as I wasn't there. If you are referring to the limited recorded account of His life on earth, the bible, then, Matthew 25:41 which I was responding to from a previous post, Rev 20:15

    Everyone Goes to Heaven

    Didn't recall Jesus saying what?

    Everyone Goes to Heaven

Did Jesus really lie when He said this? I know many will join Satan in the lake of fire prepared for them. But, there is another twist which isn't added to the limited canon, the closed canon in which no new revelation can be added, that is, given by God and defiantly cannot be received by us...

Are the words in the Bible "imperfect"?

That's a very good point. I'm guessing God can speak English. Do you think there is any language He can't speak? Or does He require an interpreter? Some may say that God speaks in foreign languages (tongues) that need someone with the gift interpretation.

Are the words in the Bible "imperfect"?

My experience, which I was very grateful to God to have involved becoming unglued, unstuck from the bible. I had developed a closer deeper more intimate relationship with the bible than with God Himself. Once I saw this and my eyes were opened, I broke off that codependent relationship

Are the words in the Bible "imperfect"?

Yes, agreed. It is all of God. God has some people sow. God has some water. God Himself to cause the seeds to grow. God has some to reap. God has His angels rejoice. God gets the glory. In all this God carries out God's script and God experiences pleasure.

How to Study the Word of God

How can we not, hey Ritajanice. His love for us, while we were chasing after anything or anyone else but Him, pentrated deep within us so that we could only respond by loving, glorying and magnifying Him, as you said.

How to Study the Word of God

Absolutely, the concept of the body with many members all interacting with each other to make it grow up, develop to become a fully form body is a good one. Then the Head having control over that whole body As with a computer, it needs all the parts to make it work and function to its full...

How to Study the Word of God

A I think you're saying that Jesus the Word of God made flesh Who once lived down here on earth, now at Father's right receives truth from His Father (all that the Father has is Mine) gives it to His Spirit Who has the task of downloading into our heart (He, the Spirit of Truth will take from...

    Misunderstandings about hearing the Lord

You are probably right. Our God is so personal hey. He gave us all individual unique fingerprints and maybe ways in which He communicates with us. He is absolutely amazing. I'm so looking forward to spending time, lots and lots of time sitting before Him and listening to every word that comes...

How to Study the Word of God

That's funny I like the method of kicking the bible out of my bed and having a nap with the Holy Spirit and use osmosis to receive whatever dreams He wants me to receive direct truth through.

How to Study the Word of God

What do you mean by 'heart revelation'. Not sure if I've ever heard that term before. Sounds intriguing.
