Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

You are technically correct. Gabriel did not give Daniel a “vision.” However, the 70 weeks of years is a “prophecy” that reveals those events that will take place in order for a complete restoration of his city and his people. That is the purpose of the Chapter 9 prophecy- the 70 years in...

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Not sure I understand… I have never heard that interpretation before… interesting! But, can you tell me how the 7, 62 and 1 week fit in with this? Didn’t the 70 weeks start at the decree to build and restore Jerusalem? Thanks.

Book of Daniel - Relevant time periods

Yes, you are right. I believe I may have mentioned that somewhere --- that everyone after the cross will benefit from Daniel... that is really a given. But what I found is there are 3 specific audiences that the verses in Daniel speak to.... and this just happens to be the most difficult...

Book of Daniel - Relevant time periods

I don't think you may understand the question here... There are 3 periods that can be identified within the book of Daniel... Obviously, we have the end times... now. We have the beginning of the first time period which would be found in Chapter 1 -- 606 BC. But what are the beginning and ending...

Book of Daniel - Relevant time periods

No offense Dougg, but you have a bunch of verses that strictly belong in one of the three periods within Daniel and they are not end times. This is the problem, in my opinion, when you try and interpret Daniel through the Book of Revelation.... But that is just my opinion. Try breaking down...

Book of Daniel - Relevant time periods

Thanks Dougg, but there are three specific time periods that can easily be carved out and seen throughout the 12 chapters. Of course, the time we are living in now is the end times... but when did it begin? When did the first and second time periods begin and end? Give it a shot - it is all in...

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Forgive me but I have not been following all of the responses to this post... Can you elaborate or tell me who has "permanent incorruptible physical bodies that are now in Paradise?" I would not want to comment until I understand the context.... thanks.

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Do you mean the New Covenant He confirmed mentioned in Jeremiah 31:31-34 was for His people? Then I certainly agree, however, God knew they would reject His Messiah and this offer of salvation would be extended to the Gentiles.

Book of Daniel - Relevant time periods

During my study on the Book of Daniel, I have found there are 3 specific time periods these 12 chapters apply to. Whether the verses in Daniel are speaking of Greece in Chapters 2, 7, or 8, the interpretations will always stay within the same time period - one of the three. So, we have 4...

The TRUE Meaning Of The Little Horn Prophecy For the End

Well, I think I am going to have to move on after reading this. Thank you for sharing your interpretations, it is clear we differ in our interpretations. Best wishes.

The TRUE Meaning Of The Little Horn Prophecy For the End

Well, it looks like you do not want to let this go! So, in the past responses, I asked you to give me your interpretation of 7:23-27… among many others. Would you tell me what these verses mean?

The TRUE Meaning Of The Little Horn Prophecy For the End

I don’t want to have an argument with you. There are many different interpretations and I certainly do understand that most consider Daniel to be end times… I believe we will just have to move on … no problem. Best wishes.

The TRUE Meaning Of The Little Horn Prophecy For the End

See, there you go again... taking the verses in Revelation and trying to interpret them and then send them back to Daniel. Who are the KOS and the KON? Why? Study Daniel and then move on to Revelation please....

The TRUE Meaning Of The Little Horn Prophecy For the End

Once again, you and I are in agreement with the symbols in Revelation seem to match many in Daniel but those time elements in Daniel do not mean what you interpret them to mean. This is a perfect example of not interpreting a prophetic verse in Daniel which WOULD transfer over to Revelation but...

The TRUE Meaning Of The Little Horn Prophecy For the End

Well, you are entitled to your opinion but I do understand Daniel not Revelation, and it does not seem to be in agreement with your understanding of Daniel... No problem.

The TRUE Meaning Of The Little Horn Prophecy For the End

Daniel’s mission is now done. He has been given all the verses / prophecies that will be recorded in the Book of Daniel. I don’t know about that statement. I do believe they do not accept that Jesus was their Messiah. Thus, they see no value in any of the NT. Their interpretations on Daniel...

The TRUE Meaning Of The Little Horn Prophecy For the End

Well, I appreciate your comments but they are quite different than mine. But that is okay. But Daniel is meant to be interpreted on its own. Revelation does not determine how we should interpret Daniel.

The TRUE Meaning Of The Little Horn Prophecy For the End

Thanks. First, I believe the verse in Daniel is speaking about the kingdom under the whole heaven. This is not referring to an earthly kingdom but to God's Kingdom. Those people who accepted Jesus and obey His commands will be found within His heavenly kingdom. Thus it is His Kingdom that is an...
