Well, as I read it, it says we are to defend Him. But do it in love, as an example of Him. :) I personally think being an example of Him on Earth is the best way to defend Him and show who He is.

What about the denoms that baptize a newborn? I personally don't agree with this as I think it is a good idea to know what you are doing that for. Is it the believe of those churches that the child will go to hell if they are not baptized? Feelings, thoughts?

Okay, so you don't have to assume, OP means original post... I was implying we were getting away from the point of the thread.

Being baptized is a symbol of being born again in Christ, that being said, if we are born again in Christ, are we not forgiven of our sins? My personal feelings, because I have never been one to use scripture to defend my arguments, just because you have been baptized doesn't make it all go...
