Homosexuality: Is it the way a person is born?

I am currently reading a book on homosexuality. In it, it says that "sexual orientation" does not exist and is a construct of man. Man made up "sexual orientation." I haven't finished the book, but that's an interesting perspective.

    In Metaphor of Ducklings

The things that he says in this video is common sense, and he's able to cite biblical passages that goes with it. I agree. The message he gives is simply common sense. It is true that there is a lot of trash on TV, and watching a lot of violence can bring out violence. That has been...

I don't find him spiritually challenging as well, but he's a positive kind of guy who brings in more self-help to people. I view him more as a counselor. Joel Osteen never studied theology.

with out the infant baptised there would not be one christian to day

The Early Christians of the first, second, third, fourth centuries, etc. showed that they practiced infant baptism and there was never any debates over it. The only debate you would find is a third century document debating on how old the infant should be baptized.

Adult baptism whats the big deal is about it..

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. So, his example is what one should follow. It is true that baptism came from God. And whatever comes from God can bring salvation.

From what I heard, Joel Osteen reads the Bible. He doesn't discuss any theology mainly because he doesn't have one. He's more into self-help, but he does it by applying God into it. Yes, there is. God is the shepard and we are the sheep. The sheep knows the voice of the shepard.

If you look back at my post, Rex, I did give my opinion on the OP. And if you look under this thread, Rex, you don't see Vale of Tears posting under this thread, but you're complaining about his avatar. Why are you complaining about Vale's avatar under this thread, Rex?? Doesn't a person have...

    A JUDAS TYPE OF REPENTANCE

This is why I said that I don't think that St. Paul was speaking about Judas Iscariot in 2 Thessalonians. :)

    A JUDAS TYPE OF REPENTANCE

Are you saying that Judas Iscariot is going to return?? The one in John 17:12 is speaking of Judas Iscariot because he is the one who betrayed Christ so that Scripture would be fulfilled. But the son of perdition spoke of by St. Paul in 2 Thessalonians could not be Judas Iscariot because Judas...

    HOMOSEXUALITY REVISITED

It seems that the homosexuals also do not like Church #2 because they constantly bang on their heads. Why bang on the heads of those praying for them? It is because prayers are actually very powerful. I know of someone who prayed for her homosexual son to give up homosexuality. God answered...

You were the one who admitted to counting his posts, and the same thing can be said of you. You also try to stir the pot. I have noticed that you would find the opportunity to put down Roman Catholicism even in threads where Roman Catholicism isn't being discussed. And for the record, I...

    Adam had free will?

Adam was not born in sin. Adam was created without sin by God. Everything that God created was good and there was no sin in what He created. God set that tree as a reminder to Adam and Eve that mankind was subject under God despite that mankind was created in His image and likeness. As for...

with out the infant baptised there would not be one christian to day

An infant is baptized to take away the "original sin" that was passed down from Adam and Eve and also so that the infant would be part of God's family. In the Bible, whole households were baptized (See Acts 16:15 and 1 Corinthians 1:16), which would include not only infants but also servants...

    A JUDAS TYPE OF REPENTANCE

Judas made his own choice, and God used Judas' choice to fulfill His will. God did not choose anyone to sin nor does He tempt anyone to sin. The Old Testament did prophesy that Christ will be judged and condemned to die. However, 2 Thessalonians is not speaking about Judas Iscariot. It is...

    A JUDAS TYPE OF REPENTANCE

According to Strong's biblical translation, the difference between the two Greek words is that "metamelomai" is a repentance of choice or an emotional change. The same word is used in Matthew 21:29. In other words, Judas did regret what he did. The Holy Bible did say that Judas recognized his...

    God's Chosen

Isn't the covenant fulfilled when Christ rose from the dead rather than when He died at the cross? Christ's resurrection meant victory over death.

    A JUDAS TYPE OF REPENTANCE

The rest of the Apostles were no better than Judas Iscariot. The only Apostle who stood at the foot of the cross was St. John. Where were the rest? They all abandoned Him, and St. Peter denied Him. I think it's clear from the Bible that Judas did regret his actions. He did not take the...

The Collusion of the American Left and World Evil

The Roman Catholic Church has no control of those outside her. She can only control those inside the Roman Catholic Church. For example, when a group of Catholics like the SSPX starts going against the Pope and the teachings of the Church, the Pope can and did excommunicate them, Those who...

    6 days of creation

As I pointed out in my last post, Jesus Christ is our new covenant that we follow. But the Ten Commandments (excluding the Jewish Sabbath) are still laws we are told to follow. Look at the following scriptures in the New Testament books: Matthew 5:17-19 Think not that I am come to...
