Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Dougg, because it speaks of His sacrifice on the cross during the last week of the prophecy. I keep mentioning that Daniel is about our Messiah. Is there anything more important than His arrival and His mission while on earth?

Ah! So please comment on the interpretation I provided you that it speaks of the Messiah during His time on earth... please.

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Hey Dougg, earlier I provided you with a very detailed response regarding my interpretation of the 2300 evenings and mornings prophecy... I have not heard from you about this ... would you mind sharing your thoughts? Thanks.

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Dougg, it would not be wise of me to comment on Chapter 11 and this time since it is easily the most difficult chapter in the Bible - my opinion, and today's accepted interpretations of Chapter 11, even though no one has been able to interpret many of the verses in Chapter 11 and have left them...

Thanks Dougg, what do you think this is referring to?

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

I don't agree. There is no antichrist figure... there is the little horn of Daniel 7 and 8.... But the Temple, the Sanctuary, the sacrifices and offerings were done away with by the Messiah. The "rejection of many prophesises" is a rejection of their interpretatons only... Most of Daniel has...

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Why do you say that and can you really disagree that their rejection and crucifixion of their Messiah is not CAUSE for Him to "make desolate" His relationship with them until the times of the Gentiles is completed?

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

I agree with you, but I am saying these things did happen at the time of the Messiah.. I believe you and others may be saying they WILL happen... that is the difference, I believe.

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

The abomination is the rejection and crucifixion of their Messiah. Nothing could be more horrific / abominable / unbelieveably evil, etc. By their unbelief and crucifying Him, God would "make desolate" His relationship with His people for the next 2000 years (time of the Gentiles).

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Why do you say that? If His sacrifice on the cross fulfilled any further need for animal sacrifices and offerings and the purpose of the Temple and the Sanctuary and the first 4 feast days were fulfilled by the Messiah, why would you think it will happen again? And that is the point I tried to...

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Dougg, I would like to offer an alternative interpretation: 1) The AOD or the "abomination that CAUSES desolation," is the cross. It is the most "abominable"act that mankind could ever inflict against their God... Nothing could compare to this! The destruction of the Temple, the Sanctuary, His...

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Dougg, why do you not accept that the Messiah, when He sacrificed Himself on the cross, did not "do away" with the need for any further animal sacrifices, offerings, etc. After the cross, the Temple, the Sanctuary, etc., had no value - ever again.. Their mission was fulfilled.

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Sorry Dougg, I think the way I wrote my response may have confused you. You are correct, 470 AD is not the time of the end, but this is when the little horn will surface and come to full power (around 500AD), thus he cannot be the one who stopped the daily sacrifice and offerings since the...

Unfortunatly no. I am working on the eBook but are having some real formatting concerns when the docx file is converted to epub and then uploaded to KDP. But it will happen. I don't know how to receive someone's mailing address here without it being made know to everyone else on the forum... if...

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Wow! That is powerful. I have never read that before... thanks so much.... I have to mention this... I believe you are the very first person who interprets Daniel in the same manner as myself.... I am so surprised!!!!!! Anyway, I don't know if you would be interested in this or not, but I would...

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

I disagree Dougg. The little horn would not come to power until AFTER pagan Rome was slain and its body was destroyed around 470 AD. It was the sacrifice of Jesus that stopped the daily sacrifice and offerings. His sacrifice was perfect and a one time fulfillment for the atonement of all sin...

Understanding what is the "Abomination of Desolation".

Thanks Dougg. 1) Ezekiel comment - I believe I read that and agreed with you that it is speaking about the end times. But it has no relationship with Daniel. 2) I have given you my interpretations on the times in Daniel that mention "seal up or shut up these words." To repeat myself, I...

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Dougg, the term "desolate" in Chapter 9 means that, as a result of their rejection and crufifying their Messiah, He would "make desolate" Himself from His people for over 2000 years. They rejected Him and now He would turn to offering His plan of salvation to the Gentiles. At the end of the time...
