Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

No, the new covenant was not in full effect at Pentecost, nor will it ever be until Jesus returns to Israel and Judah per Jer 31. This is all they/we get as we are included in their future covenant... 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16...

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

There are God sanctioned unknown tongues that never get interpreted. Unknown tongues are the human spirit praying to God as the carnal mind does not understand what is being said. If you or I do not speak in unknown tongues, our spirit does not pray and we only pray with the carnal mind...

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

Yes, but not to a single gentile. This unbreakable covenant is still futuristic and specifically to Israel and Judah. We are merely pre-included in it in a dark glass viewing, partial way right now. As a matter of fact, we have fooled ourselves into inadvertently proclaiming God lied to the...

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

Actually. There is one covenant. We are adopted into that future covenant in a partial way. That covenant will be fulfilled to fathers of the nation of Israel at the return of Jesus Christ.

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

There are two types of tongues noted in scripture. One type is unknown tongues and the other type is known tongues. Unknown tongues are prevalent to all believers and known tongues are for certain believers. 1 Corinthians 14 speaks of unknown tongues while 1 Corinthians 12 speaks of various...

    Electing New Pope

Since you teach only babies are children, and not adults, the term "children" ceases as Catholic kids turn toddler. Folks ask about your teenagers, "your children"? You say, "no, per our doctrinal views of Acts 2:38-39, our children cease to be children after they are newborn and baptized...

    Electing New Pope

The promise is in the passage... 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off...

    Electing New Pope

I am 61. I am my father and mother's child. That never ceases. Catholics must disown their children at 8 days old.

    Electing New Pope

The promise to the children was about recieving the baptism of the Holy Ghost which is followed by speaking in supernatural tongues per the same chapter. Not repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Repentance and water baptism is not a promise but a command. Get it right...

Man is not guilty of sin until he commits it.

I had to change my view to what you said years ago. Jesus really does love the children of the world

    Electing New Pope

Correct. Born in sin and shapen in iniquity is talking about David's parent's sinning and shaping him, not baby sins.

As soon as it is born and if it dies for some reason, does God send it to hell after it leaves it's mother?

God sends aborted fetuses to hell?

    Electing New Pope

Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16 and Matt 28:19 are explicitely for adults, not infants. The RCC is flat out off their rocker with infant baptism and infant covenants. I guess those that teach talking and bleeding statues are real, are not to be taken lightly, huh?

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

    Electing New Pope

When you were baptized as an infant, you made a covenant with God? What did you say in your part of the covenant? God understands grunts and whimpers as repenting and making a commitment? You okay?

    Electing New Pope

Amen, babies are saved at birth. They grow up to be sinners as they become adolescents/adults. God does not send babies to hell. Catholics teach the silliest doctrines in Christendom.

    Electing New Pope

When you were an infant, what covenant did you make with God?
  20. Truther

    Electing New Pope

Acts 2:38 does not apply to infants(...Repent, and be baptized....), nor does Matt 28:19(...and teach all nations, baptizing them...) . They can neither repent, nor be taught. They are innocent. The RCC is completely nuts.
