    At the end of the day, you still need remission of sins via Acts 2:38. Unless you just like being "different" than the 3000 at Pentecost. Cooler maybe?

    Celestial/ extra terrestrial...same thing. Angels can't make babies. Everything that reproduces must be after its kind per Gen 1. That's God's unbreakable Law of creation. Not even angels can break this law of nature.

    Right, OT works of the Law. Read your NT preacher. It is always referring to the OT Law when speaking of salvation via works. Moderninsts think everything is works, especially Acts 2:38. It borders on willful ignorance of scripture.

    By the works of the OT law as scriptural context teaches, correct. By Spirit led works, salvation is obtained.

    To be exact, ANY church or religion that baptizes in anything other than in the name of Jesus is just a glorified bath house for believing sinners.

    Here is where it all went wrong, Charlie. They don't say "in the name of Jesus" as they baptize. They teach silent baptism. They don't remits sins in the COC, but just give free baths.

    I guess "Saved During Sleep"(SDS) is doctrinal. It is truly saved without works. No confessing or repenting etc. Hey, great idea!!!

    A mere question does not save anyone, Charlie. Who teaches that anyway? They(modernists) skipped baptism, then eventually skipped repentance,.... now they are backing up to.. "saved by a question"? Next thing you know they will teach you are saved in your sleep.

    I would definitely repent if I thought I was saved and found out that I had not been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of my sins. Now that's something to repent about.
