    The same reason they don't accept Jesus as the Messiah. They are obviously wrong about that but you are going to look to them as the gold standard for interpreting scripture? You can't read Isaiah 53 and see that it is talking about Jesus? I can't help you. And I never said Jesus is the Father...

    It is clearly a prophecy of Jesus. Even being buried with the wicked in a rich man's tomb. He bare the sins of many. He was wounded for out transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him AND BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.

    Who was this child born in Isaiah's day? Isaiah 9:6-7. Apparently his reign didn't last forever on the throne of David, neither did his kingdom if he was born in Isaiah's time. Is the Bible wrong?
