God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

how do you reach that conclusion about me? ok i think you made a typo here - i'm finding this comment somewhat incomprehensible. i assume it's some kind of personal insult?

Grace-Haters are incapable of honestly admitting what the (P) in Calvinism really means.

exactly how do you please? and has that changed over the course of your life -- if i made a timeline, and put 'you believe' somewhere on it, how did you please before that time, at that time, and after that time? i.e. do you believe God changes people's hearts?

i am of the opinion that as long as the thread isn't closed, it's still possible to reply.

Jesus IS God in the flesh!!

once again, if people can "twist a single sentence" then that sentence isn't 'simple' it's complex: it has to be at least as complex as the one hearing/reading it in order for it to fail to be understood: it contains as much or more information as the hearer/reader has aptitude to comprehend; if...

people sure wouldn't be able to twist them & misunderstand them so if they were as simple as you describe Q.E.D. =p

    Genesis 3 Q&A

IMO that is an incredibly vain and foolish assessment of Woman, wholly in conflict with Genesis 3:1 "the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made" our pagan-English-language translations put the word "chayyah" which means "alive, living" as 'beasts'...

    Genesis 3 Q&A

"seed" in Genesis 3:15 is singular in both cases: the Seed of the Woman the Seed of the Serpent it's also written that men loved darkness rather than light - so how can you say mankind is forever at odds with evil? Genesis 3:15 is speaking of the Man of Sin and the Son of Man -- of which...

    Genesis 3 Q&A

absolutely not. Adam is neither blaming his wife nor blaming God -- that's ridiculous! God accepts his answer: next time you sin, why don't you try telling God "it's your fault God, You're the one who made me sin, so You have no right to judge me over it - you created me in order to murder...

    Genesis 3 Q&A

what in the world do you mean "if" the scripture is right??? Adam was not deceived means Adam was not deceived. not by Satan, not by his wife, not by God, not at all. Adam is not misled in any way whatsoever.

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

cool. it's a dead horse & an exercise in vanity tho -- Romans 14. no Christian is bound by some law to observe any day, tho he or she may be bound by their own conscience, and anyone judging anyone else over either observance or non-observance is in error. Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

Then Pilate asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered and said to him, “It is as you say.” (Mark 15:2) sure seems like the days of Pilate's darkness were interrupted by glorious light on this day, hmm

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

well it sure wasn't a 'day of thick darkness' for the man on the cross beside Him, or the Roman soldiers who stood by. they saw the Light.

Jesus IS God in the flesh!!

His word isn't simple any more than He is. We can write a 500,000 page thread on any single verse - even Psalm 119:30 - for example to add understanding to the simple is not to multiply their simplicity. This verse connects to the proverb, also, where Wisdom laments, how long you simple will you...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

could you possibly put this in a succinct format of one single paragraph as i have done, i.e. day one: day two: day three: giving Hebrew day & Julian calendar day? i could have also given 50 scripture references in a confusing jumble of 3 posts in 2,500 words, but i thought, let's try to make...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. (Matthew 27:62) the next day meaning the day after Pascha -- which that Pascha was 'preparation day' because the following day was the Feast of Unleavened bread, a 'high sabbath' of the 7 feasts as...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

On Friday, after the Thursday high sabbath of unleavened bread, and before the weekly sabbath - then He rose on firstfruits, the day after that weekly sabbath. Isn't it interesting that Nicodemus and Joseph anticipated His death on Pascha, already having spices and linen and a tomb ready?

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

sure, what page is it on? it sounds like you think 'high sabbath' means the sabbath of Unleavened Bread ((the next day after Pascha)) fell on a weekly sabbath, and that's why they called it 'high sabbath' -- but i think 'high sabbath' means a feast-day sabbath as opposed to a weekly one.
