Redemptive Suffering / Did Christ Die Spiritually?

God cannot die spiritually. He cannot die at all. Death was unable to hold the sinless Son of God. He commended (released) His spirit to His Father while on the cross. He did not have to suffer in Hell.

    Works V. Faith

So very true, dragonfly. I should have said, "If you don't act upon what you say you believe, it is unbelief". Jas_1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Mar_7:6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it...

    Works V. Faith

If you believe something you will act upon it. If you don't act upon what you believe then you really don't believe it, do you? That's called Unbelief. So, faith without works is dead. But faith with works is a living, believing, genuine faith.

Redemptive Suffering / Did Christ Die Spiritually?

How Is Man Redeemed? Do we look to the Cross or do we look to Hell? Calvary is the place to look to. Redemption of man came through a body and is received while in the body. Heb_10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body...

    Can You Be Righteous

Abiding in Christ The Tabernacle of the First Covenant is a type of Christ and illustrates in a symbolic way how one enters and abides in Him. Before entering the Tabernacle one must pass through the outer court. This was enclosed with white linen curtains that stood higher than a man's head...

Spoken Word and Written Word are the Same

So, you are telling me that you look to man and come under his authority and know nothing about the authority of the Holy Spirit in your own life. You have to ask man what to do and what to think. Ok, I think we get that. And you are so concerned about us because you want us to know the...

    Polygamy

Well then, go with the 4,000 years BEFORE Christ. I am just saying there is a resounding NO by the Church of Jesus Christ for the last 2,000 years. Does that mean anything to 1 soul such as yourself?

    Polygamy

In 2,000 years of discussion, searching the scriptures and inquiring of God we do not see a doctrine or acceptance of Polygamy in the Christian Churches in the world. What we see is widespread teaching against it from ALL OVER THE WORLD (that includes many cultures, not just Western cultures)...

Spoken Word and Written Word are the Same

Many act and talk like they have already disregarded God's Word and diminished it's importance. Whole false religions have been created by adding to and taking away from God's Word because they say, "God has not finished speaking". If someone is speaking to you and telling you they are "in the...

Not many will make it through the GREAT TRIBULATION. Because of no faith.

Thanks for that link Rex. I was aware of the Jesuit teachings of the Rapture from Duncan McDougall's "The Rapture of the Saints". Great little book if you can pick it up. He is from Scotland and lived during the first world war. He goes into detail regarding the book that Jesuit priest Emanual...

    Sin to be a Revolutionist?

So many people still USING Jesus for their own end. Jesus was a revolutionary but did not lean on the arm of the flesh. He walked in the Spirit and obey His Father's will. When He was reviled, He did not revile in return. When all His rights under Jewish law were stomped on He did not protest...

    Polygamy

The only thing rhat is important is that the Spirit of God accepts it, not you or I. So, I am wanting to see evidence that the Spirit of God is behind this and if so where is this manifested in the churches of God worldwide? One denomination is not enough and you should know that. It does not...

Not many will make it through the GREAT TRIBULATION. Because of no faith.

Alan, many people today in this world (in the Church) are going through "Great Tribulation". It is a nonsensical argument to try to measure plain old non "great" tribulation with "Great tribulation" and it seems the ones that always engage in that debate have never had ANY tribulation at all...

    Polygamy

Justin, it was the cultural viewpoint of Paul and the other Apostles and the Early Church. Please show me multiple African Christian churches that are continuing their culture of polygamy and teaching that God is pleased with it. Thanks Justin, it was the cultural viewpoint of Paul and the...

Legal cannabis in Colorado and Washington state

The Bible says that, "Whatever is not of faith, is sin." Rom_14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. God is the ultimate judge of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
