  1. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

You say that "currently only a remant are in the NC.." So do you believe all the citizens of national Israel will all be saved by Jesus in the future? If so when does this happen and how does it happen?
  2. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Would you please clarify this for me? ~ When you say "He will reign in Jerusalem" do you mean the Jerusalem on earth in the middle east presently or the "New Jerusalem" that comes after the end and all unbelievers are in hell for eternity? ~ When you say that Jesus will reign on David's throne...
  3. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

The typical mantra of the dispensationalist is that "Jesus came to the Jews and "offered the kingdom to them" but they refused and were "set aside" until the full number of Gentiles came in....but Ephesians 2 blows that false theory apart because Paul clearly indicates that the Jews and the...
  4. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

You quoted the verse accurately but your understanding of the verses together don't agree with the "intent" of WHY Jesus did not want them to go to the Gentiles at that time. Their time for reaching out to the Gentiles would not come until after he had given them the "Great Commission." The Jews...
  5. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

How can you say that although "the implication that Israel and Judah are restored, it can't be discerned in the content of the New Covenant" when verse 31 CLEARLY has the Lord's word that the New Covenant includes the restoration of the house of Israel with the House of Judah?
  6. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

If men were mocked because they were promoting the newly devised false doctrine in the 1800's, as you now admit that you do know it to be true, then it is no wonder they were mocked. Those "mockers" as you call them saw it for what it was. And BTW, I don't mock you, I mock the things you say...
  7. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

No, dispensationalism was not "REBORN" in the 19th century....it was "created" in the early 1800's. If you check out the better commentators prior to the 1800's you will not find the theory of "two distinct people of God" anywhere.
  8. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Not so. The two people (Jews and the Gentile church) theory originated in England and Scotland in the 1800's by the name of John Nelson Darby. He then brought his "theory" to the USA first along the east coast through "revival" meetings and traveling proponents of the new "two system" people of...
  9. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Out of 7 short words, how is it that people cannot see that word that is at the center of it....."PART." Since when does "PART" mean ALL? - PART....In verse 1 of chapter 11, Paul writes..."I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! I am of the tribe of Benjamin.... - PART/NOT...

Christians are not under the New Covenant

May the Good Lord put cottonballs in your subjects ears!
  11. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

No, not quite accurate here. If you read the book of John, you will see where Jesus actually began his tours of the middle east, and he began those tours going from Galilee to Jerusalem. From Jerusalem he went directly to Samaria. He was indicating by his actions that the Jews of Judah and the...
  12. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

-When Jesus said that "salvation is of the Jews" He was saying that "the gospel of eternal salvation was to go forth from the Jewish nation" and it did at Pentecost. - Where it says that "[Jesus] is the Jewish Messiah" that is true. - And where Jesus said "I will make a new covenant with the...
  13. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

In one sense it is and in one sense it is not --- depending on what one believes is "the true Israel" or "ethnic/national Israel" of the Middle East or of "spiritual Israel" of the "church" composed of both the Jewish remnant and the belieing Gentiles.
  14. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Moriah said: PAUL taught the NEW COVENANT in 2 CORINTHIANS 3:7-11 (post #539) The correct verse should have been 2 Corinthians 3: "...who made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not in a written code but in the spirite; for the written code kills, but the Spirit gives live."
  15. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Jesus said that all OT would be filled by him. Jeremiah is no exception. Luk 18:31 - And taking the twelve, he said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written of the Son of man by the prophets will be accomplished. Jhn 12:16 - His disciples did not...
  16. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

The only reason for this kind of talk is because dispensationalism falsely created two separate people - the body of Christ (now) and national Israel (later) but scripture refutes the above big time. Let God's Word prevail during these perious times. Heb 7:25...Consequently he is able for all...
  17. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

No wonder your dispensational views don't make sense!
  18. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Essentially the same as the Watchtower; just a "spin-off" of it. Key words are; ~ Anchient Worthies... ~ Raised from the dead to human perfection... ~ they will form the nucleus of the new arrangement in the earth... ~ JW friends... I did a lot of research years ago.
  19. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

That has been very obvious to me. Do not use that term for my beliefs again as I do not belive what you say concerning Jer. 31:31 as do the following commentators... Benson Commentary Jeremiah 31:31-32. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord — The latter days, or the times of the gospel, are...
