    Should I be rebaptised?

@aspen and @bbyrd009 You both said you were rebaptised and wish you weren't. Would you share why you wish you hadn't done it?

    Should I be rebaptised?

I think they put the cart before the horse. The Baptist church that is. After 3 visits you are asked to sign a tithing contract. I'm not saying all Baptist churches, just the one I visited.

    Should I be rebaptised?

@Taken I like post #82 so much I would like it twice or more if I could. If my sins are not cleansed away, will my belief(Jesus is our Savoir, he sacrificed his life for my sins, he was risen) alone save me from them when I stand before our Father? That is the reason.. I am not sure.

The Kingdoms of the Beast (part 2)

Exactly. And we all think he will be a tyrant, when actually he will come in after a terrible event. Whether it be an action of man(nuclear destruction), or a natural event(a meteor), maybe even alien invasion. Either way its our Fathers will. But the a/c is going to make things better. He will...

    The trouble with religion

Isn't it like, several people reading the same book, each receiving a different message.(?) We are the church. We all believe in Jesus as our savoir, we all have a set aside place in the body. Therefore, we all get a different message. Please take take this in the spirit it's given...

    Should I be rebaptised?

With like believers.. the churches here seem to think you are declaring belief in them not Jesus. They won't baptise unless you are joining THEIR church. Same with communion. Been denied in Lutheran and I'm baptised(infant) Lutheran. Wouldn't dare ask them for a baptism. Lol my mom comes to...

    Should I be rebaptised?

Ahh, this is what I'm talking about. I feel the Holy Spirit yet I have not been (knowingly) baptised. It must be His as imo he has removed many sinful things from my life. On the other hand, I read baptism is a must do to receive it.. or is the baptism to wash away sins? Thank you. Your words...

    Should I be rebaptised?

Why do you regret it? I really need to rethink this. If infant baptism is good, I'm good. Then why do I doubt myself?

    Should I be rebaptised?

God says, child you are forgiven, jump in!! My mom is 77, I turned 60 last month. She is moving here in July. I tithe to my study chuch which is 600 miles away, so baptism would take some arrangements. I would love to take my mom with me, but her disapproval would ruin it for me. (1200 miles of...

    Should I be rebaptised?

Did you feel stronger in Spirit? Was hoping it would help me remember where to find scriptures. I remember what I've read, but not where to find it. I keep notes but hey, 3 notebooks for 8 books.. just another place to hunt. o_O

    Should I be rebaptised?

Does this mean join/declare a church? I confess every night. Very hard to find a church these days, don't want to get caught up in new age and the others want you to be a member. My mom yelled at me and told me I said her brothers and sister were all in hell. Our beliefs are different, she lets...

    Should I be rebaptised?

This is something I tried to ask my mom about. I was baptised as a baby, is it all I need? I don't want to put Jesus back on the cross, I just want the salvation, cleansing, filled with the spirit.. my faith in Him is strong, my repentence true. Wasn't sure where to put this, please move if...

Poll - Tattooing: from male military and biker ethos...to viable witness means for both genders?

I never planned on getting one. A long day fishing and enjoying dinner, followed by a few beers at the campfire. Plans made... smh He was 18 when he got his first, I was 46.. So I got mine 8 years later. He was shocked to see it as I'm a plainjane.. no jewelry(except wedding ring), no makeup...

They do. My son had 7 or 8 tattoos before I even thought about it.
