I think they put the cart before the horse. The Baptist church that is. After 3 visits you are asked to sign a tithing contract. I'm not saying all Baptist churches, just the one I visited.

@Taken I like post #82 so much I would like it twice or more if I could. If my sins are not cleansed away, will my belief(Jesus is our Savoir, he sacrificed his life for my sins, he was risen) alone save me from them when I stand before our Father? That is the reason.. I am not sure.

Isn't it like, several people reading the same book, each receiving a different message.(?) We are the church. We all believe in Jesus as our savoir, we all have a set aside place in the body. Therefore, we all get a different message. Please take take this in the spirit it's given...

With like believers.. the churches here seem to think you are declaring belief in them not Jesus. They won't baptise unless you are joining THEIR church. Same with communion. Been denied in Lutheran and I'm baptised(infant) Lutheran. Wouldn't dare ask them for a baptism. Lol my mom comes to...
