    UNDERSTANDING OUR SALVATION

I'm sure we all like to believe we are on that way. :)

    UNDERSTANDING OUR SALVATION

I too believe that God's Word, especially the promise found in the Gospel message, quickens the dead as Lazarus came to life when Jesus spoke the word "Lazarus, come forth!". Once quickened we are to respond in faith. Does that sound like a Calvinist to you (as I was falsely accused yesterday)...

Saskatchewan, yes my stepdad was born and raised in a little town called Biggar outside Saskatoon about 60 miles or so.

    Searching the Scriptures part#1

This person’s post had gone without a response since Mar 16th, so I decided to try and tacke his long post piecemeal. Apparently the OP is not a Christian (other faith) and needs help understanding a few things. So instead of addressing his concerns you come on and attack me (as you did...

    Searching the Scriptures part#1

Ok, let start, one-at-a-time :) In context...Romans 12:3-5 (KJV) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we...

    I wander about somethings

God's Word is sooo important especially if you are isolated from other Christians. I would take advantage of the online resources until you are able to secure a Bible. The entrance of God's Word gives light to our darkness as well as feeds our soul.

    UNDERSTANDING OUR SALVATION

Canada? What part? I have a few relatives up there. I come and go. Hopefully will stay longer as my time and maturity allow, lol.

    UNDERSTANDING OUR SALVATION

When you jump to false conclusions like the above, you shut down the conversation as well as show me you won’t listen to the other side. I’d be wasting my time to go further.

    UNDERSTANDING OUR SALVATION

Thanks, but you never directly addressed those verses I gave you about grace coming before faith. Also you kept on about free will. Could you kindly explain how fallen man has free will seeing he is a SLAVE to sin, satan and his flesh?

    UNDERSTANDING OUR SALVATION

Perhaps there is a middle way, between Calvin and Arminius? Could you explain these passages (especially the highlighted part)... Matthew 16:15-17 (KJV) He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus...

A Study Guide For Key Words

Luke 10:20 ESV [20] Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

    UNDERSTANDING OUR SALVATION

I'm in complete agreement and part of our growing is seeing 'more of Him and less of me'. John the Baptist said it well..." He must increase, but I must decrease". John 3:30 (KJV)

Disability and severe anxiety during church events has made it hard for me to make connections

Hi TC 99, I have a pretty bad stuttering problem, and may have autism (I'll have to wait until they are sure what it is before I find out. lol). In any case, God is made strong in our weaknesses as we look to Jesus in our difficulty, whatever it may be. So to keep me from becoming conceited...

    Why am I a muslim

Maybe for the same reason they deny the Deity of Jesus and the atoning death of Jesus for our sins.

    The Gospel of Christ

The Gospel is great for leading unbelievers to Christ as well as reminding Christians of the pit from which they were rescued. Doctrine is great for edifying the believer in the faith.

The End Of Racism In America

Not a cessations, but I do believe 'all men were created equal' before the Fall (in Adam): but after the Fall, some of us in the human race are born with more defects than others. Race has nothing to do with the sin issue.

The End Of Racism In America

Yes, when the King of kings comes back and subdues His enemies under His feet. Until then, dream on, sin is sin and mankind will act accordingly.
